REARM AND REFUEL
When out of ammo, return to base and land, shut off engine. now hit control/shift/k and you will respawn in the air with a full load of ammo and have to fly back to the action
MADE FOR ALLIED SIDE ONLY....CHOOSE ONLY FROM THE AIRCRAFT SELECTION WITH 8 SEATS IN THE FLIGHT.LEAVE THE 7 SEAT FLIGHTS ALONE AS THEY ARE YOUR REARM AND REFUEL AIRCRAFT.
choose from flight 1 and flight 4 only as these are the flights with 8 aircraft.
AIR START AT ALTITUDE FLYING TOWARD THE BATTLE ZONE. USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE TO GET SOME HEIGHT ON THE ENEMY.WHEN YOU ENGAUGE AND FINALLY RUN OUT OF AMMO RETURN TO BASE AND LAND. WHEN YOU COME TO A FULL STOP HIT CONTROL/SHIFT/K AND YOU WILL RESPAWN IN THE AIR IN A NEW A/C WITH A FULL LOAD OF AMMO AND CAN THEN RETURN TO THE BATTLE.
you can continue to do this untill all the enemy planes are shot down or you run out of respawn aircraft.
The camel is always used because of the ammo loadout at 1000 rounds. you will need the zepp and gandies cloud formation in order to fly this mission.

Multiplay /SINGLE PLAY
train buster's
Trains abound along the Rhine in the beautifull Koblenz area.we are less than a hundred miles from frankfurt,
germany and can hurt their war effort with a sucessfull attack today.
three trains and a marshelling yard are our targets today.enemy air activity is high and so are the stakes in this
free for all to the death.
be aware that the third train has deadly archie and must be approached with caution.keep a wary eye.
you may spot the odd zepp returning to base as were in a zepp flyway and they will be returning home about
this time.good luck and good hunting.
PD
These missions are written with multiplay in mind. they have 16 seats and are set up to have a target rich
enviroment with a fair amount to do.
although they can be played out in single play the mission goals are impossible to meet.
my reasoning for always haveing the sopwith camel is the fact they have a decent load out and with them in
a coop mission with a full house[ie 16 player's] the mission goal is atainable.
survival is the main objective in all mission scenerio's.

install these folders into your PHASE-3 main game folder
and answer ''yes to all'' when prompted.
''THANK-YOU'' TO GANDI FOR the best dang clouds in the sim world.
your objective is to take out the train as well as the marshalling yards.
follow the waypoints and have the bombers take out the yards while you protect them.
then take out the train as you will get to it rather quickly.
there is a flak car on the tail end that should really be delt with first.
there will be enemy air activity.

''The Balloon Buster's''
a phase-3 mission by pilotsden.
Thank-you to Gandi for in my view the greatest cloud formation this sim has to offer.
just put the attached file into your weather folder.
16 seats----- 8 camel and 8 tripe's
My missions are made to be played from the allied side but can be played from either.
i use spawns for enemy aircraft so you may find the centeral powers are outnumbered as
half of there force are spawns and unflyable.

Map of The Somme Area 1916
March 2009
The original, large, paper map which is the basis of this set was lent to me by Hugh Baldwin, "Bletchley," back in October 2006. It was a project to bring some maps into the Over Flanders Fields W.W.I. flight simulation as well as supply maps for others interested in this period of W.W.I. history.
The original map was badly creased, ripped and worn and being very large I had to scan it in pieces, then paste it all together accurately in Photoshop and then restore it and enhance it.
The main map is now divided into 6 segments, each indexed to a map segment by Number/Alphabet. Each segment overlaps so that there is no loss of detail and each segment is clearly marked in the upper right corner with it's index letter number.
I hope you enjoy these and they help in your flying in the OFF BHH game, or in any other historically accurate WWI sim.
These will print out nicely on Letter size paper (8.5"x11") or larger. Use them in game to mark way points, landscape reference points, flight paths, etc.
Contact me if you have any questions.

with the pending "Hat in the Ring" add-on I thought it might be nice to have a new map to cover some of the American operations.
this is taken from a 1937 U.S. official volume: as such several war memorials are included on the map. while anachronistic for the purposes of OFF, I felt that having at least some sort of map to cover American operations would be nice to have. this is my first experiment with this sort of project. I had to photo-copy the stuff in the libary before I could scan and composite any of the images. sorry about how primitive it is. but I hope it helps out with game play!
the thick black lines and gray patches indicate the progress of the Allied attacks. the time covered is from Septeber 26th until the end of the war.
taken from the 1937 revision of "A Guide to the American Battle Fields in Europe".

Since our Saturday sessions took us out over the channel and farther northeast than I realized, I've made a new grid map for 1917. The only difference is the 2 extra grids added to the top. Install and reading instructions included. OBD copyright text included.

this is the standard in-flight map from the game. I've taken two maps and overlayed them transparently to help with navigation. rather than try to get the entire nation to line up, I've only selected the areas which seem to get action in the game. you'll need to change the name from "alt_low 1917" to "alt_low" to get it to work.

Four missions that recreate the Battle of Vimy Ridge from April 9 -12, 1917. Make sure you have Stumpers Sopwith 1/2 Strutters that are available on TS. Other wise if you just want to play these offline just go into MB and replace the AAA Strutters for the OFF default Strutters.

Here's the multiplayer grid maps for 1916. You'll need them for Vasco's 24 Squadron RFC campaign starting Jan 10, 2010. A big thanks goes to Red-Dog for developing this and for the previous MP campaign grid map. and yes ODB, there's the required copyright acknowlegement included.

This is a corrected version. In orignal mission, the ammo dump was not a goal object. In v2 it is, and will show inflicted damage.
We are providing air and bomber support for an amphibious assault of a fortified beach head. Take control of an Se5a Viper, and help soften up the beach head for the landing party, then search out the ammo dump that supplies the bunkers along the coast and givem hell!
Bristols are for support only, they do have cockpits, but limited waypoints.
Download file to seperate folder. Run installer. Please look at readme.

We have succeded in destroying almost all the heavy bridges, and slowed the enemy advance, but at a very heavy cost, but there is one more bridge large enough for the enemy to move equipment necessary for it to substain an offense. Amongst heavy debate, HeadQuarters has decided to take a gamble, and attempt an attack at this last bridge. Resouces are slim, but considering the stratigic importance of this target, we have pooled an impressive force. The bridge MUST be destroyed. Escort the bombers, and DO NOT leave them unattended
Notes: The Bristols are considered "props" in this mission. They are there to give you something to Escort, and do have the function of bombing the bridge. I could not find a way to slow them down in mission builder, so to get them to fly in a manner that the escort fighters did not fall far behind, I gave the bombers "zig-zag" waypoints.
The Bombers with an "*" next to them when you are selecting your planes in the mission are flyable, if you want to selct a bomber.
To keep the size of the mission down, none of the axis planes are flyable.
All of the Se5a's have cockpits, and are flyable.

Resitance has uncoverd a large gap in the enemys observation defenses. Fly low, rush in undetected, and try and get as many enemy planes before they can take off. To assist in our mission, resistance has cut all telegraph communications between bases. Destroy all efforts to repair these communication links.
Download to seperate folder, extract and install.
Readme included.

This is a custom skin mission.
It will install the skins as you see in the screenshot.
It also includes a file to remove the skins, and a file to restore the skins for pilots who do not wish to encounter red white and blue spads in other game play.
Everything you need to know is in the readme.
Download file to seperate folder and extract. Install from msi file within folder.

As we fly our missions, constantly crossing over enemyairfields, we encounter airbourne formations, but never see a formation taking off to intercept the intruding formation.
These are 2 "generic" spawns.
As the Player Formation approaches an airfield, it will cause a flight of 5 enemy aircraft to take off, seek and engage.
One for allied, and one for axis. Included is a readme which hopefully will make putting a takeoff spawn into your missions easy, and also explains how to modify the files to spawn whatever aircraft you want.
download file, and extract into a new folder.
the spawn and xml files in the root of the folder go into your cfsww1 over flanders fields\spawns folder.
the mission files inside the Mission folder can go into either your historical or training missions folders. As long as the spawn files are installed properly, the 2 test missons should work.
Use and distribute freely. No credits required.
Should you have any problems with the files, or have any questions, please pm or post.

Its a beautiful morning, and we are out on patrol in the baltics. Intelligence reports heavy shipping trying to sneak out to the atlantic.
Extract file.
Xml in mission folder goes into your missions\historical
Spawn and xml files in the spawn folder go into CFSWW1 OverFlanders Fields\spawns

(Inspired by British_eh's exciting "Dover Straits Mission")
May of 1916. The War has been raging for twenty-one months and shows no signs of ending any time soon. Information has just been received that the Hun have constructed a small but important servicing yard on the Belgian coast east of Knokke for their ships that travel and patrol the North Sea and beyond. It is vital that this yard be destroyed in order that we might hinder German naval operations in this area. Your assignment is to lead your flight of eight BE2c's up along the coastline and do as much damage as possible to the target facility. You will have escort in the way of five DH2's from 29 Squadron that will meet you over your aerodrome at Koksijde. Make best speed to the target and try and keep your altitude when bombing as you will likely encounter not only enemy scouts but also heavy ground fire if you get too low. It has further been reported that a German cruiser is patrolling the waters near the shipyard. Good luck, and God's speed.
