    1. Brewster B-339 Buffalo, ML-KNIL

      Brewster B-339 Buffalo, ML-KNIL, Pak For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs 1/8/09

      This will allow you to re-create the Brewster B-339 as used the Dutch Army Air Force in the Netherlands East Indies, at the beginning of World War 2.

      This is an INCOMPLETE mod, as it only contains the inis and skins and some other small parts needed to create a nationalized version of the Dev A-Team F2A (USN). The aircraft's LOD and cockpit folders are =NOT= included -- you will need to copy them over from the F2A to complete this mod.

      2 new skins, from new templates I created (based off the originals by Gramps) are included. One is a more-or-less 'standard' RAF style coloring, with the Orange roundel (trindel??), and the other is more NEI-ish; done up in "Old Leaf", "Young Leaf" uppers and natural metal unders, with the Dutch flag roundel (rectangudel???).

      Full instrucions in the enclosed read me - so READ it!!

      *while designed for 06 level SF/Wo*, it is usalbe in 08 level SF/Wo*, and in SF2. However, the FM WILL need rebuilding for SF2. Fly Accordingly!!*

    2. Ki-61 Tony Family, Skin & Ini Pak

      Kawasaki Ki-61 "Tony", Skin and Ini Paks, For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs
      Thi package contains a reskin and cockpit/cockpit ini modification of the Dev A-Team's Ki-61 "Tony" .
      You MUST have the Dev A-Team's Ki-61 Tony, and it's suggested also Christian59's "Tony Family Package" before installing this mod, as without it, this does you no good!! Having the DATs Hurricane 1 would be a good idea too, as the new cockpit ini will need it!

      This package several skins for various Ki-61 marks, but no lods or cockpit are included. You WILL need the DATs Ki-61, and Christian59s "Tony Family Package" to apply this to.

      SKins/decals supplied are for:

      19 Sentai (screenie shown)
      37 Sentai
      105 Sentai (all 3 Chutai)

      each is contained in a seperate zip, so you'll have some extracting to do. Each set contains it's own readme, so you'd be advised to read it.

      Note: while desgined for SF/Wo* at the 06 level, it should be usable in 08 levels and SF2. Be advised, however of many FM issues that will need resolving. An experimental SF2 FM for one of these (disremember which) can be found in the SF2 PropHeads Forum, in this thread:

    3. F2A-3 Buffalo, Update Pak

      F2A-3 Buffalo, Skin and Ini Update Pak For SF/Wo*/SF2 PTO Installs

      This is a semi-complete package for the Dev A-Team F2A Buffalo, in USN and USMC service at the beginning of World War 2.

      It is semi-complete due to DAT rules, the aircraft lod is NOT included. So, you'll need the F2A-R2.LOD to compete this package. Everything else IS included.

      3 skin/decal set are included; and there's 3 individual readmes, as I've combined all the earlier seperate downloads from my now-closed site, into one. I'd reccomend reading them all, if only for the historical reference

      VF-2 "Flying Chiefs", USS Lexington, December 1941
      VMF-212, MCAS Ewa, Territory of Hawaii, circa January 1942
      VMF-221, Midway Island, June 1942 (yes, them). This skin is 100% historically accurate, with BuNum matched to Modex numbers for the aircraft assigned during the Battle of Midway. (shown in screenshot)

      Canopy works via manual animation key, the standard Shift/0
      Also included is the engine sound, and a pilot figure. NOTE: the pilot figure is set for 06 level, so you drop him into the root of the /Objects/Aircaft folder.

      For SF2 usage, you'll get a new folder for him in the /Pilots sub-folder. In essence, you've got him twice!

      Once unzipped, all you need to is drop the LOD into the /F2A folder,and off you go. I'd also advise reading each of the enclosed readmes.

      *Note: while still designed with 06 SF/Wo* in mind, it should also be usable in 08 Level SF/Wo*. If used in 08s & SF2, be advised a completly new FM will be necessary. Also, cockpit repositioning will be needed for SF2. Post all questions & problems in the SF2 PropHead Forum. I'll get them worked out (excepting FMs and LOD issues)!*

    6. Grumman TBF/TBM Avenger & FAA Tarpon Update/Upgrade Pak (DAT)

      Grumman TBF/TBM Avenger & FAA Tarpon Update/Upgrade Pak
      -For the Dev A-Teams Avenger/Tarpons-

      For SF2, Any and All (full 4/5 Merged Prefered)

      *Note: may also for in 1stGen SF/Wo* WW2 Installs. This has NOT been tested!*

      *Note Deux: You =MUST= have the DATs original Avengers to apply this pak to!! If you do not or cannot access those downloads, -DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD- as you'll be unable to use it!!!

      This pack is a complitation of several other mod packs I've released for the Avenger ... it replaces any and all previous versions.

      Some relatively minor tweeks for the Dev A-Team Avenger/Tarpon WW2 carrier based torpedo bomber.

      Ini tweeks add my corrected lighting, switch the canopy and wingfold to manual animation keys (wings: shift/9 canopy: Shift/0 -the Usual Suspects). Those equipped with ASV or Yagi radars get a new avionics ini for the surface-search radar. Most other things remain pretty
      unchanged.
      All decal inis have been corrected for the proper pathways, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
      New textureset & decal inis are included for those skins originally created by Gramps, as are a couple of new skin bmps that add the 'visible internal bulkheads' when the wings are folded.
      The new SF2NA carrier statements HAVE been added, but until we get all the terrains have been upgraded with the new/correct/proper water bmps, it may be a moot point. However, in campaigns when carrier-based, they should work fine.
      New Userlist.inis have also been created & supplied. It may not contain all users, as it's basiclly designed for USN/USMC usage. RNZAF can be added easily; if there's a skin for them!

      To soften that blow, I've done up a new skin for the TBM-3; VT-82 from USS Bennington in G system markings.

      To make things easier (and to pad the download), I've included ALL the skin and decal sets previously seen in the 1stGen downloads, or on my recently closed site that I've done. The readme for that is pak is included, just for historical purpses, as it has some "What If' background.

      As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! As well as the usual "Notes" section.

      Good Hunting!

    10. Breguet 693 - France 1940

      GBA I/51 France 1940

      Breguet BR-693 (13 aircraft)
      The Breguet 693 was a light bomber that usually carried 8 50kg bombs.
      When they were delivered, the Breguets were popular with their crews, although the unreliable engines in the Br-691 caused headaches. Only in March 1940 were the first combat-worthy Br-693s delivered, and there were now five squadrons to equip: GBA I/51, GBA II/51, GBA I/54, GBA II/54, and GBA II/35, with a theoretical complement of 13 aircraft each.

      It showed promise in its role and all Breguet variants (691,693 and 695) flew 500 sorties against the German invasion. 79 Br-693s were lost in action.

      It seems most Br-693s went into service without underwing codes. While there are plenty of pictures of this aircraft in Vichy colours, it didn't serve outside metropolitan France and didn't see combat after the Armistice.

      Amended DATA and LOADOUT files are included.

    11. Potez 633 - France 1940

      GBA I/51 France 1940

      Potez 633 B2 (5 aircraft)

      In 1938 France ordered 449 Potez 633s but in May that year it was decided that all light bombers must have a crew of 3, so the aircraft was developed for export only. A bomb-bay filled the space between the plot and gunner in which the bombs were hung vertically.

      35 aircraft (4 from a Chinese order, 20 from a Romanian order and 11 from a Greek order) were allocated to various squadrons in 1939-40 to fill gaps and to help transition pilots into the Breguet 693. These aircraft have "C", "G" and "R" in their serial numbers.

      There were 20 aircraft in combat units (GBA I/51, II/51, I/54 and II/54) when the Germans invaded on 10 May 1940. GBA II/35 received the Potez 633 later that month. Only Potez 633s of II/51 saw combat, losing 5 aircraft.

      A further aircraft, destined for China, got as far as French Indochina before being requisitioned into the Vichy Air Force for the defence of the colony.

    12. 1962 the germans at Red Thunder

      This campaign is made for a tutorial with the title:
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      What i must do to to bring a new Air Force in a stock campaign?
      ===========================================
      Lets say i want to mod the WOE stock campaign Red Thunder 1962 and want to include the westgerman and the east german airforces.
      First we need the files
      woeCamp1.ini
      and
      WOECAMP1_DATA.ini
      both files you find in the folder Campaigns/woeCamp1
      if not, then you must extract them with an extraction tool like SFP1E extractor
      Make following steps:
      1.) open files woeCamp1.ini with windows notepad editor
      2.) look for the lines
      [CampaignData]
      CampaignName=1962
      DataFile=1962_data.ini
      CampaignMap=GermanyCE
      Service001=USAF
      Service002=RAF
      Service003=France
      3.) add now
      Service004=EGermany
      Service005=WGermany
      4.) save the file.
      Now we have included the Luftwaffe and the LSK/LV as new airforces which can deploy units in the campaign.
      Our next step is to bring 2 east german and 3 west german units in the campaign. The east germans we place at Holzdorf AB and Peenemünde while the west germans we place at Wittmundhafen, Neuburg and Büchel.
      5.) open file WOECAMP1_DATA.ini with notepad editor
      scroll to the last airunit entry which is
      [AirUnit078]
      AircraftType=IL-28
      UnitName=305 BFAP
      ForceID=2
      Nation=SOVIET
      StartDate=11/15/1962
      DefaultTexture=SovietSilver1
      BaseArea=Parchim Airbase
      ......................
      6.) after this entry we will place the 2 east german units
      8.) save the file.
      BE CAREFULL: you must place the units at existing airfields. Which AB are existant you find in the GermanyCE_targets.ini.
      Make sure that the names of the baseses are the same in Targets.ini and campaign_data.ini.
      For instance if you write
      BaseArea=Wittmundhaven Airbase
      instead
      BaseArea=Wittmundhafen Airbase
      the unit will not exist in game.
      After this we must include the new created air units into the woeCamp1.ini file, if we want to fly the birds of this units. If not, then we have nothing to do anymore. But i want to fly the MiG's for the LSK and the Starfighters for the Luftwaffe, so we continue:
      9.) open file woeCamp1.ini
      10.) scroll to the end and include following lines:
      //LSK units
      [EGermanyUnit001]
      UnitName=JG-8
      ForceID=2
      UnitID=34
      StartDate=1962
      DescFile=woe1Start.txt
      StartText=woe1Start1.txt
      AircraftType=MiG-17F
      [EGermanyUnit002]
      UnitName=JG-2
      ForceID=2
      UnitID=35
      StartDate=1962
      DescFile=woe1Start.txt
      StartText=woe1Start1.txt
      AircraftType=MiG-21F
      //Bundesluftwaffe units
      [WGermanyUnit001]
      UnitName=JG 71
      ForceID=1
      UnitID=46
      StartDate=1962
      DescFile=woe1Start.txt
      StartText=woe1Start1.txt
      AircraftType=F-104G
      [WGermanyUnit002]
      UnitName=JG 74
      ForceID=1
      UnitID=47
      StartDate=1962
      DescFile=woe1Start.txt
      StartText=woe1Start1.txt
      AircraftType=F-104G
      [WGermanyUnit003]
      UnitName=JBG 33
      ForceID=1
      UnitID=48
      StartDate=1962
      DescFile=woe1Start.txt
      StartText=woe1Start1.txt
      AircraftType=F-104G
      The most problematic part is the UnitID= number
      you must count which number the single unit has. For the blue side and for the red side.
      For instance, the JG-71 is the 46th blue unit. To get this number is relativly simple. You must look in the WOECAMP_DATA.ini and look for the last "blue" air unit. If you look right it is the 42nd TRS which has in the campaign the air unit number 045 [AirUnit045].
      Thatywhy the next blue air unit has the UnitID=46, then comes 47 and so on.
      With the red air units it is a little bit mor difficult, because the first red air unit has in the data.ini the number [AirUnit046]. But in the woecamp.ini it is not designated as UnitID=46, because it is the first "red" air unit and thatswhy would get the designation UnitID=1 (only if the unit would be flyable)
      To get the correct UnitID= number of the 2 east german units we must count all red air units. If you do it you will see that we have in the stock campaign 33 soviet (red) air units. Thatswhy the first east german unit get the number UnitID=34 and the other UnitID=35
      11.) Save the file.
      12.) Finally comes the testing of the campaign.
      Thats it.
