We're looking for some members who speak other languages fluently to manage forums in other languages and coordinate with our team here at CombatACE.com. I'm interested to find out who would be interested if we offered such a service and which languages you think would be most used.

Feel free to respond here or in PM with your thoughts and details.

Thanks everyone.

I thought for sure we'd have some German, French, and Russian speakers among us.

The problem with asking for help in English is that maybe the guys you want help from don't read or write English. How come I feel like I'm stuck in an oxymoron ... sorta like congress and progress.

Oh well, hopefully we'll find some guys to help us out. :dntknw:

谢谢, Dank u, Merci, Danke, Σας ευχαριστούμε, Grazie, ありがとう, 너를 감사하십시요, Obrigado, Вы, Gracias

Since we are looking for guys to run and help in foreign language forums you'd need to read and write fluently in a language. We still good for Russian?

I speak spanish fluently as well, and I can get around speaking German (I've had to read and comment on Goethe as part of my German minor, so I'm sure I can understand anything in German!) But if you need someone fluent in bad and inproper English, I'm your man!

I know some russian!!!

I can tell you my favorite russian band:

«Смысловые галлюцинации» - рок-группа (Екатеринбург). Основана летом 1989 гитаристом Сергеем Бобунцом при участии Константина Уварова и Владимира Бурдина.

The reason I'm looking to expand into different languages is that a large portion of our traffic originates from outside North America. I can't help but think that so many of our community members have a wealth of talent to share that they can't or don't. I'd like to develop forums specifically to make these members feel more at home.

What would be the major languages you'd consider?

I can speak with a Deutsche accent, does that make me multilingual? :dntknw:

How are we for asian languages? I've noticed we've had a few problems with Korean and Chinese members wanting to contribute but being arrested by the language barrier. (Although Kei Nagase seems to be battling along nicely).

I used to be able to speak a little Japanese but I don't think it'll help. :sorry:

Looks like we have the beginning of something great. Anyone read and write another language other than English?

Also let us know which languages you think would be nice to have here.
