Last night mom's dad passed away. He had some health issues in the past week or so, but was expected to recover and was doing well. He served in the USN as a parachute rigger, and was stationed at Dunkeswell (Link). The USN flew their version of the B-24 on anti-sub patrols out of there during WWII. Well, that's all I've got for now...

 

On a positive note, Happy New Year's guys & gals.

Sorry for the big loss suffered by your mom and yourself and the rest of the family. :( :sorry:
