What aircraft you miss in game?

Recommended Posts

The XFV-12 looks little bit mixed up the canopy from A-4 intakes from a F-4 with the nosetip from something else.. but looks hot!

The XFV-12 WAS a mixup of F-4 and A-4 parts.

Indeed. I wonder why it was never turned into a normal fighter - since its VTOL capability was unsuccessful but it's normal flight behaviour was rather good - I bet it could have made a beautiful A-4 replacement!

Yeah, I know, the "Gutless Cutlass." Real widowmaker, but it would be a challenge.

I hereby second the F4D. Wasn't it the NAVY's first supersonic intercepter?

Also, that XFV-12 have canard foreplanes on the lower fuselage- bad idea, In a climb, you'll lose lift because the main wing will be in the turbulent wake of the foreplane, and at any angle of attack you could lose all lift from the main wing.

According to NASA tests it would fly well enough in conventional flight though... only it's V/STOL characteristics were abysmal...

In My Humble Opinion,

The AV-8B Harrier II Plus

The AH-64D Longbow Apache

The AH-1Z SuperCobra

The UH-1Y Huey

and last but not least;

The CFA-44 Nosferatu from Ace Combat 6

And forgot another one :

CH-47 Chinok

Very true! Chinook would be very useful for many scenarios...

Others on my list:

- Sea Venom

- Buccaneer

Good idea.

Because it would be another reason to have the Spitfire XII/XIV in-game...

My vote is for the F-101 Voodoo, the F-102 Delta Dart, Tu-128 Fiddler, Su-25 Frogfoot, and the Bucaneer
