+drdoyo Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 His role in Midway was what got me interested in being a pilot, and in WWII naval history. As much so as Ba Ba Black Sheep. Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 he was a rare person in hollywood.he was one of only a few in hollywood who stood for the rights of americans.he fought hard for every free american and wasn't swayed by the ignorance that is so prevelent there.his like will be sorely missed.God bless you CH. A men with too faces died. The well known face of him was the actor in many monumental movies. This face will be seen often again and - i think - he'll always live on in our minds. An impressing actor! The other face is the face of a private person who stands for extremely conservational political ideas and a horrible and fanatic fight for the NRA and to give a deadly weapon into every fool's hand, who is stupid enough to think, he can handle this "toy". I just noticed this one...all i can say is LOL. Quote
the test pilot Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 rest in peace. i saw only few of his movies, but he was THE actor, not an actor Quote

JediMaster Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I don't know how much acting he'd done lately, last thing I saw him in was the Planet of the Apes remake. Quote
SkyStrike Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 In his many movies, especially "The Ten Commandments" & "Ben-Hur" ; he always represents an induvidual who's willing to do anything for truth & justice.... I'll always remember his famous punch lines in the movie "The Ten Commandments": "What I Did, I Was Compelled To Do" "The Strong Make Many Bricks; The Weak, a Few, and The Dead None"... Truly a remarkable actor..... Quote
