+Erik Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Why do I find these posts so funny? I had to suspend CA's ability to serve web pages yesterday to get a security patch into PHP. We were down maybe a minute two at the most and even that got noticed. You guys have to remember that web servers are just machines with software on them and yes they require attention too. If you want something to brag about how about our server uptime for CA. Uptime is total elapsed time without a reboot on our machine: [root@combatace ~]# uptime 19:15:11 up 394 days, 47 min, 1 user, load average: 2.38, 2.54, 2.45 Don't try this at home. I say kudos to Don keeping things up and running and serving all those terrific mods over there at C5. Sometimes it's okay to let us know just how much you love us. :: CLICK HERE ::
