kesegy Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 (edited) lol that's some sound advice. or instead of bells, you could play them the "tamburica" like german lady in croatia. some say it helps to soothe their nerves. Edited August 2, 2008 by kesegy
Guest 531_Ghost Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Hmmmm I think I may have seen something like this before
+Gr.Viper Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 I like the switch from 'feces' to 's**t' on mentioning a grizzly bear...
Longestpants Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 My uncle always used to say that the best caution is to "stay the hell away from bears."
Rambler 1-1 Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 welcome to BC! just sing Bob Dylan songs while hiking, any bears within a mile will be running away at top speed.
+Tailspin Posted August 3, 2008 Author Posted August 3, 2008 Photoshopped? I don't know. It appears to be a local campground sign and not an "official" type of Govt. notice. Regardless it funny and to the point.
eraser_tr Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 B.C. Fish and wildlife branch? Gotta be british columbia, and only Canadians can come up with a sign like that!
Rambler 1-1 Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I recall seeing a sign much like this one at a campground across the lake from where I am... I can't remember if it had those exact words, but it wasn't an official sign, it had been put up by some wildlife conservation group or something. It was at Bear Creek Provincial Park.
kesegy Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 i found another one in my pictures folder on my pc. didn't even know i had it.
