A flight instructor and a cadet pershied in a crash today

Flying a metal bird is a dengerous thing.

That's somthing we,digital pilots, dont have to wory about.

Always a shame to lose good man.

Being in the service is always a risk, however, losing good men in times of peace always feels unnessecary.

Looks like a magister, its a safe plane, but I am sure its old. Thoughts and prayers for the family and service members involved.

yes it is... but with a lot of improvements over the years

 

the names of the pilots were already released.. the cadet was promoted to 2Lt.

the inctructor is a Captain with combat flying experience (i think i heard it was on an F-16)

the invastigation already began but they think it's was a pilot error

Just surprised to see they still fly that plane, I am sure they are maintained well. Think they would upgrade to a Hawk or something similar. Nesher is there talk of trans to another aircraft?

yes... till next year all the magisters will be replaced to T6 i think
