It is a later upgrade for the F-4Es that are still around in service with the USAF. Mostly updates concerning avionics and stuff like that.

The biggest visual difference is the ARN-101 hump on the fuselage spine and a few other antennas, but it is well done and the textures are very nice - a definate must have if you are a Phantom Phan. A nice job.

A piece of Art!

In the 80,s they flown a lot in my local Area in South Germany!

Often in combos with F-4Gs,and mainly very low and noisy.

Does it get any better than that?

The best Times ever to watch jets!

Sometimes we had 200jets and more per day!!!

It was one of the busiest LowLevel areas.

I really really really love what you guys did with this mod! I can't get enough of it! It got me thinking as well, if you could get the pipper to move with the ccip, but forgoe the usual green fall line and so on, why not add that to the equally stunning MF F-111A and FB-111, so I did. And now I am having triple the fun out of this series than I was last week.

Thank you Mirage Factory! Keep it comming! :clapping::good:

And I am soo not a sycophant

Hi kirsten,

It was the Area 7,the only one in South Germany.

It was about 100x50km large.

Top points were Dinkelsbühl,Feuchtwangen,Nördlingen,Weissenburg...

The famous Hesselberg,my absolut best spotting point ever.

Arnie won't cycle radar range settings for me. Using WOI patched up. Any suggestions?

I take that back - range will cycle, but it won't loop back around to the other end - i.e. I can go 10, 25, 50nm scale, but not 25, 50, back to 10. Is there a way to fix that?

My default setup is to have one button on the throttle to decrease range only - as a contact moves closer, I can scale down. But, until this jet, it has always looped back around to max range.

I've been around the Romantische Strasse, Dinkelsbuhl, Nördlingen etc. Remember quite a lot of low flying jets.

Must have been a noisy and smokey place in those days, with the equivalent of about 23 squadrons of F4's in Germany and Holland...

Hesselberg indeed looks like a vantage point !!!
