Fantastic new terrains?

Recommended Posts

Looks VERY good Jan! I like the variations in seasoning much!

OT: been playing Rise of Flight for few hours now... That game has issues, too mny to list them :bad: I think heavily modded FE will do enough (or OFF of course )

Is there any way to get better trees into FE to improve combat experience down low?

Yes!

Just checking back into this thread...

Jan those trees are a great addition and look great! When/If mixed in with the others will be a great improvement to variety. Thank you!

Are your trees based on the '2D-crossed-surface texture' (what would you call them?) as TK uses, or more 3D like OFF-BHAH?

There seems to be so much activity in the FE community lately, like a renaissance almost... Awesome!!!

As far as I know, we can't have real 3D trees or houses. All that's available in TE are the X,Y type crossing planes or simple boxes. Some trials that I did were by placing few types of objects at the exact same location, but it's a workaround far from good. Also I was HEX-checking tods to find some clues about mesh geometry, no luck, no skills.

I was asking TK about possibility to use custom 3D meshes for tod objects few times, no reply :dntknw: It's a step back from TK's EAW and it's full 3D custom editable .3DZ ground objects.

I think Jan uses the standard types of objects..?
