+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Fiddler? we need a new topic for this bird!!!!!! Quote
Delta6Actual Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I was wondering if there was a way to add one more serial number to the list for the RF-101B. The very first RF-101B was not traded back from Canada and carried the serial 57-0301. Technically this was the first of this short-lived obscure bird that I totally love! Quote
Spinners Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I think it's as simple as making the serial number decal and amending the numbers list. Quote
Delta6Actual Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I think it's as simple as making the serial number decal and amending the numbers list. OK, how do I do that? Is there a tutorial? Quote
Spinners Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 (edited) Assuming you are only asking about the decals (as the numbers list would take about 10 seconds) then I don't think there is a tutorial here but I've just googled 'making decals in GIMP' and 'making decals in photoshop' and there are plenty there. BTW do have a photograph of this actual aircraft (i.e. the one you claim is missing) in service? This seems to indicate that it didn't see squadron service so the Voodoo boys were right to disregard it. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/lofiversion/index.php?t129961.html Edited January 8, 2011 by Spinners Quote
Delta6Actual Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 The only picture I have seen of that particular aircraft is the same as the one in the link in your last post. Pictures of the RF-101B are pretty hard to find. I was only in service for 4 years. Quote
