I can't tell you when the B-1's will be done. The skins are done but still waiting on the FM (Fubar512 is busy with real life)

However, we got some early B-52G/H's and a late model B-52H (AI only for all) that are almost done. Here is a pic of pappy's excellent work on SIOP skinned versions. He also has some of the early white and silver schemes too. When he is done its off to my decal shop.

Here is a WIP all models done by Dels via wpnssgt.

Yeah pappychksix makes a good clean classical B-52 skin.

My fave ~> http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=2388

Well, antiflash white is my favorite colour.

What works nice in the sim is.....granted the TextureSet skin lighting covers the whole aircraft, top and bottom, and it would be "nice" to define lighting qualities for different airplane parts. But in general, a shiny metal skin is really shiny on the top where the SF sun shines, but less shiny -- more flat -- on the under surfaces where the SF sun don't shine. The white bottom is not as reflective as the bare metal top, because of lack of sunshine. Now, fly the B-52 or B-36 -- with silver top/white bottom -- upside down, and the opposite happens, but we don't do that very often do we?

What year where the ugly bumps put on the BUFF chins?

Between 1972 and 1976 for the EVS system. The all the rest came after.

Puberty ?

Seriously though, you can always tell a good old aircraft by the amount of lumps and bumps it accumulates over it's service history. I think the BUFF's look better and meaner today than they did way back when.

We have a late model H as well. Just need JSF Aggie to finish the skin on it.

Okay!See the them Buff's from Barkdale AFB,Bossier City,La. fly over once in awhile.I'll break out the spy glasses and look at the nose art, camo and tail codes. Then, look up on the internet to see if there is photos for closer inspection.Kinda fun for this nerd.Maybe a bit weird for some folks.

Can some take look at this B-52H of the 917th and tell me what is the "pod" on right wing?Got this one off internet but, have seen this aircraft flying overhead couple years ago.

When I was 14, I used to peddle my bike down to the airport and spend all day watching the Connecticut ANG F-102s taxi by. I used to use binoculars to spot and write down the serial numbers and tail ID numbers too...not such a bad hobby if you ask me!
