I second that - really impressive.

Got a question.  In the course of developing aircraft ingame, I noticed a lot of frame rate variation.  Naturally some variation is normal, but I saw more variation than would seem justified so I set up a test with 16 Gladiators.  Framerates varied from 13 to 41, even though there was no real variation in objects within the FOV.  Has anyone elese gotten that much variation?

Jasta18 cutting through a formation of DH9's of 104 squadron, IAF,  August 1918.  Jasta18 at Montingen. The last one is a bombed airfield east of Saint-Mihiel.

In the last shot, the shelled ground looks really good.  Or, is that bomb damage?  Either way, nice work.

The Bombed airfield and surrounding terrain are new tiles. I photoshopped the shelled terrain tiles from No-Mans-Land tiles. Not Bomb damage. It's not a targetable airfield. Just something to look at when flying over.

Been working a bit on skins, and had a good time fooling around with Golden Age biplanes.

In an unusual example of enemies co-operating in aeronautical engineering, an Albatros D.I converts a SPAD VII to a monoplane...

33LIMA - Are you sure that D.I isn't carrying two 13mm Parabellum MG15s in its Weapon Stations, or are you just that good of a shot?

Just got lucky - at least as often, I'm the one losing wings...

The screenshots look excellent.  Are their mods to make it look like that (great winter scenes, etc) or is that stock FE2?   Where would one go to find most of any available quality mods for FE2?  I fly WOFF UE and some RoF but I'm always on the lookout for other great WWI flight sims.  I tried IL2-1946 with the CUP mod for Dawn of Flight but I can't say that it suited my tastes.

As to my screens, I have a modded install taken from combatace
