MAKO69 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 (edited) Whats your fav fast food place. I only hit it about 1 maybe 2 times a month trying to keep the girlish figure in check, I'm not 22 any more. Mine's a place were they cut no corners Wendy's. When I am in NC and they got it I get the Carolina Classic chile col slaw. Up in Mass I get the #2 dble w/cheese sauce for the fries. #700 post wow Dave i'm catching up. Edited July 15, 2009 by MAKO69 Quote
Jimbib Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Not many "decent" fast food places over here, but I always go for the West Cornwall Pasty Company if I can. They make awesome pasties. Either that or Gregg's. Quote
+DWCAce Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Wendy's, and Panera if you can count that. Jack in the Box. I'll need to go there when I'm out there :) Quote
+Fubar512 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Arby's. Back in the day, however, my favs were Gino's (only in the NE, they folded up in 1982 or thereabouts), and Arthur Treacher's. Quote
Rambler 1-1 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Subway. It's generally faster then most places (except Wendy's) and I love those giant subs with everything on them. And I don't even have to clean up the mess that I would make if I made one myself! We don't even have Jack in the Box, whatever that is. Although I remeber a place called "Fatburger" from when I went to Las Vegas. Didn't eat there, though... And I've never been to Burger King either Quote
+Syrinx Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Well I have just had a sublime kebab from a little van parked at the roadside in Cottingham. No idea what it's called but right now that is the best fast food place in the world. Mind you anything tastes good after a skinfull of beer ! Good job I have a cast iron stomach and I am definately pulling a sickie in the morning ! Quote
MAKO69 Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Good for you your majesty. Side show food is the best. Everybody loves a dirty water hot dog stand. Edited July 16, 2009 by MAKO69 Quote
Jimbib Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Well I have just had a sublime kebab from a little van parked at the roadside in Cottingham. Nothing beats a good doner with lashings of garlic mayo from a van of death Standard meal after a good night out! Salad? Pah! Who needs a healthy section Quote
eraser_tr Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Fuddruckers! Not exactly fast, but so damn good, and you can pile on all the toppings you want. Wendy's is ok, but the people there are chronically morons. Anyone else notice a particular quality of people working in each? The people working in all the wendy's are all stupified and can't understand simple deviations from the number order and size for the life of them, where the ones in KFC are far brighter, and everyone at subways has trouble hearing me, but nowhere else does. The waiters at red lobster are really strange (this one guy, I swear was some sort of voodoo priest) Quote
MAKO69 Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) I always say people that fail the Wendy's test move on to Burger king or Mc D's. Up here the Wendy people are all college kids. I have been to fudrucker at Foxwoods casino and Myrtle Beach good time I like the beer buckets. It was like maybe an extra buck for five beers . if you went to the local pub or comercial TGI/Ruby's/Applebee's you would pay 2.50 3.50 a wobbly pop. Edited July 16, 2009 by MAKO69 Quote
+Tailspin Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Popeye's! For burgers, there's a little joint about 20 miles up the road called Ned's Shed. Been in business for at least 50 years. You can get a double cheeseburger there with everything on it...and they do mean everything including slaw (chow) and sweet pickle relish. O. M. G.! Quote
MAKO69 Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Now if you include local "fast food" Hot Dog Annie's takes it. Their BBQ dogs are to die for, I don't think they clean the pot they make the BBQ sauce in. This place is about 20 min away from me by car 10 min by Mtrbike. Edited July 16, 2009 by MAKO69 Quote
+Dave Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Wendy's, and Panera if you can count that. I'll need to go there when I'm out there :) There is no Jack in the Box in Ohio. Quote
+Fates Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Subway, Ralley's, and Chic-fil-a In that order Also enjoy Panda Express, Chipolte's , and Rascoe's Tacos Quote
MAKO69 Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 I've been almost all over this great nation of ours, I think Wendy's has the best fast food franchise Burger. Been to whitecastle, popeye's, jack in the box, arby's, hardee's, checkers/rally's, BK, MC D's, Friendly's Quote
Silverbolt Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) when i was in florida...i've gone in one called Johnny rocket, i like it for the old school stlye Fred fleming's BBQ was good also hehe Edited July 16, 2009 by Silverbolt Quote
Caveman Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 wendy's for me and our local idots work ether at McD's or Taco Bell.... Quote
+Fubar512 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I'm surprised at the number of votes subway got. I guess you guys have never experienced a Jersey Mike's sub. I understand that Dave's forbidden from setting foot in one, ever again Quote
+Fates Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I'm also a huge fan of Quizno's, but I was voting based on what I have access to, since they recently closed the Quizno's here. As for Jersey Mikes, not really a fan at all. Don't like their bread Quote
+JediMaster Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Johnny Rocket's is great, but there are very few around. I know of one in Orlando on I-drive, but I can't recall any others around here. Most of these places you people are mentioning I've never even heard of, let alone seen. Here we have MK, McD, Arby's, Checkers, Subway, Quiznos, Wendy's, Sonic's (a favorite), the "food court only" ones like Sbarro and Chick-Fil-A, Long John Silver, KFC, Taco Bell, maybe an occasional Nathan's... I think that's it. None of those others are here. Quote
Rickitycrate Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Alexander's Fish and Chips. Kihei Maui, Hawaii. But since I'm not there right now, Cousin's Subs or Zantigo's Mexican Quote
