1) Sopwith Snipe

2) Sopwith Snipe

3) Sopwith Snipe

4) Sopwith Snipe

5) Sopwith Snipe

I love these threads, even though I'm fairly sure they make the devs desperate.

Since the Snipe and Pfalz D.XII have already been mentioned, let me add three French 2-seaters to the list:

1) Dorand AR

2) Salmson 2

3) Breguet 14

I could go on and on about getting more 2-seaters, but those three would nicely fill up some gaping holes in the French order of battle.

I´d like to see an early French type, no matter which, just give some meaning to the early Jastas. And two heavies would be good, one for each side!

                                        Anastasios.

P.S.  Ohh not to forget a Siemens-Schukert of course!!!

My five:

1. Pfalz D12 or Siemens Schuckert (the two appear to be very similar)

2. Snipe

3. Fokker DII (early war birds are needed)

4. Moraine Saulner (early war birds are needed)

5. .............

.............

.............

............. are there any single seaters left that are not modeled in the sim? drinks.gif

Ok - put in some target 2 seater - prolly early war in nature!

Happy offing!

DH-4

Snipe

Gotha (Just to see how interesting it would be to shoot one down...)

and a couple of Seaplanes 1 each of course...

But hey I am still learning to fly my little Sopwith 1/2 Strutter so what do I know

.

"And two hard-boiled eggs."

(HONK!)

"Make that three hard-boiled eggs."

(honk)

"And one duck egg."

Since the Albatros D I is much like the D II, but with far worse forward vision,

I would recommend to you to change that into a Siemens Schuckert D III,

Widowmaker.

And for me one of those SPITFIRE beers!

Being a Sopwith "admirer" I'd say bring the mighty Snipe, Salamander and the Dolphin.

From the German side I'd like the Siemens Schuckert D. III.

I'd wouldn't mind also a Morane-Saulnier MoS 6.

Taube, Farman MF7 and M-S H.

No machine guns.

Grappling hooks, flechettes, revolvers and hunting rifles are all allowed. :yikes: I'm voting for those in the absence of OFF's resident combat sim masochist, Creaghorn.

All my top list (way more than 5) are all 2-seaters. We have more than enough scouts already, and while we need a few more British 2-seaters, the French have none of their own, so most of them are French, then German. All these planes were built in large numbers and played significant parts in their air forces in their day.

In no particular order:

Breguet 6

Breguet 14 A2 & B2

Breguet-Michelin BM 4

Caudron G.3

Caudron G.4

Caudron G.6

Dorand" AR 1 or AR 2

Farman F.40

Maurice Farman M.F. 11

Morane-Saulnier Type L

Salmson 2 A2

Voisin 5/6

Voisin 8 LAR and LAB

Albatros C-type (any)

Halberstadt CL.II (if ConrandB doesn't beat OBD to it).

LFG C-type (any)

Rumpler C-type (any)

Armstrong-Whitworth FK 8

De Haviland DH4

I really like the theme approach like "Hat in the Ring" and the planes in the last update really filled in some gaps. I think the same would be great for the next add-on perhaps with 2 seaters or bombers. And of course a Snipe for WM. I am afraid if he ever got one we would never hear from him again. (insert sad emoticon here). I personally would like a Roland D6 with the clinker wood thing only because it looks cool. :drinks:Cheers!

Hmmm...I'd like more early war aircraft myself. Especially 2-seaters. Like Dej said, I think it'd be pretty neat if the devs could rig up a rifle in the backseat instead of a machinegun for the really early birds.

Strange that players from a WW1 and a WW2 flysim always (lets say 90%) want to have the plane from the end of that war scene. Mainly I think because thats got the best performance. Why is this, I can imagine that if you are playing a modern jet sim, you want to go for the best performances, faster, higher, armament, all to get you the superior feelings.

But not for me in a WW1 fly sim, this means struggling, gun jamming, tactics, f****ing weather, flying skills etc. This is what I like in RB3d-WFP and the main reason why I still play this game, so for me its the planes from the earliest period (and a good campaign like RB3 or OFF3 btw).

I'd be pretty happy if they concentrated on filling the missing links in the squadron upgrade chains and added a heavy to both sides.

Beyond that, like Dutch mentioned, early period planes would be nice.

I don't think the Parasol would be too bad.. it's the Cauldron G.3 I would love to see but would be a act of God to see someone model that cabling nightmare.
