No Delivery of Game!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I have been waiting over 2 weeks for delivery of BH&H so contacted Avangate as regards the shipment as suggested in the FAQ to ask for a tracking number ... the reply I got was

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting us.

The product you have purchased is only delivered electronically, via email. There is no physical shipment available for your order.

After the order has been completed, you received an email containing licensing information for the software, which would allow you to use the program unrestricted.

If this did not happen so far, please let us know so that we can resend the message.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Kind regards,

Hi James,

BH&H is definitely a physical DVD only. HITR add on is electronic only. This is explained on the website, so ignore Avangate's comments they are confused there.

Normally you would have the disk within 2 weeks to most places, but some countries such as Greece can take a bit longer. We normally ask you wait at least 10 business days, but of course now we are now into Christmas shipping delays so it may take a bit longer, and of course it does vary from country to country. The VAST majority of DVDs arrive - very very few have not arrived on the first try.

Please send your order number and the email you received from Avanage to support <at> overflandersfields.com

For future reference for anyone with similar issues please email us rather than posting here, we don't necessarily check here everyday or for support issues.

Dokken1212 and elephant - I wish for you, that Pol is right there:

maybe someone didn't know what they were talking/writing about, while the product is already underway.

Must admit if I remember correctly it took nearly 3 weeks for mine to wing its way across the Pond to England when I was living there... so as I am always saying Patience...

Delivery times seem to vary a lot. It took only one week in my case (Finland). But it's not very encouraging that the Avangate support doesn't know OFF is actually a physical product and not a download.

I ordered mine on a Friday, and it was in my box on Monday. I may have had the fastest delivery ever. It was still smoking when I opened the mailbox!heat.gif

Actually I think I was the quickest... I wrote the first review on it coming in. I think I got it the day after they started shipping, but I'm just up state from them.

Where else will you find the "president" of the company doing things like that to make his customer happy? :clapping:

My guess is it's going to arrive soon. Certainly in time for Christmas....at which point you'll realize it was worth every minute of the wait. It'll be best gift you've bought yourself in a very long time.

Welcome to the forum.

Cheers,

Parky

Outstanding news James! Well, except for the part about being blown out of the sky...but you'll get used to that after awhile. Those Huns really can sneak up on you. I'll give you my personal "golden rule" about WWI air combat.

You are most likely to die when you think you are the hunter, but really you are just the prey.

Check your 6 like you're checking your watch waiting for a hot date to show up. Every few seconds. Sooner or later, when you least expect them they will be there.

Congrats, Dokken1212 - and if you can change the title of this thread still - it should be: my game arrived!

Although - it isn't a game.
