Coolest, funniest, worst callsign/s you've ever heard!

Recommended Posts

So i was watching Jetstream yesterday. Its a canadian documentary that follows 8 pilots that try to make it as fighter pilots. Good show!

Anyways, what really got my attention and got me laughing was some of the callsigns some of the pilots got. So i thought why not put all of the ones you guys have heard here. The best ones you've heard, funniest ones, worst ones, you name it :good:

Ill start with one from the show. Capt. Yannick "Blow" Jobin  Now this one is just spot on!

Freely translated form Spanish, a flight instructor known as "Pukes" who told me about another one, last of his class, CN-235 pilot "Insurance Inc" by companions and "Widowf***er" by paras.

In English, a Tomcat driver, Captain Rick Ludwig "Wigs". Indeed, i think his aircraft featured a loading screen of TMF Tomcat.

Fictionally, "Boxman" from "Flight Of The Intruder" or "Longhorn" from "Behind The Enemy Lines"

A Civil Air Patrol wanabee irritated me to bestow on him the moniker "Notso",last name was Bright. I won't list any of the pilots that I worked for in the Navy out of respect and fear of reprisals, but here are some of the call signs from the enlisted side:

Animal

Tree, the kid was 18 and 6'5"

Tree2, 6'4" same unit and shop

Pork Chop

Mongo, dude looked like Mongo from Blazing Saddles

Zippy

Gilligan, self explanatory

Wookie

Beerwolf

Toothy,Last name was Brush

Spuds, from Trainspotting

Crash Puppy, fell out of a pickup truck leaving the Club

Skivies, last name was Haines

Killer Kat, one of our lady AZ's after she fell in love with the Mossberg 500

I wound up with the name Sleaze after one of my LPO's saw me in a different local err, "house" on nearly every DET I went on.

I remember another tomcat pilot callsign "Faceshot". He appeared in Speed and Angels. When i first heard it, i thought the was something dirty about it, but indeed, it is explained later that , being drunk, he was shot in the face by a friend. It´s good having friends, you know?

Does your own in-game callsign count?

My old in-game callsign used to be 'Ultramax'. It was also my UserName here at CA until my brother saw me on my laptop one day at our parents house and started comparing it with a popular brand of female menstrual sanitary product.

:blink::blush::blush::blush::blush::blush::blush:

.......... I've been known as Piecemeal for some time now

Doesn't really count because it's a Navy nickname, but a friend told me about an ex-Canadian Navy NCO he met whose last name was Tater. When he was a Petty Officer, he was "PO Tater".
