FC is right... up north here, and we haven't had snow for a month, we even had 10 degrees celcius (50 F) for a couple of days. It's dropped back to ten below (~14 F) lately, but no snow at all.

to be honest, I'm a bit jealous of you guys...

So that first system put down a couple more inches of snow than we were expecting. Light puffy stuff though. Today's mix is crap. Killed my grandfather's snowblower. The F-350 that usually plows out my apartment's driveway couldn't push this heavy icy mix so a backhoe was used instead. Nice glaze on my car. Had some hail around 5:30 PM when I was freeing my car. Looks like another inch has landed here since then.

I live 60 miles west of Chicago. We had 20+ inches of snow. 3rd most on record. :yikes:

It's now -5 F.

Just a good ol' Illinois winter.

Joe Cantore funny guy. It was about 8-9 years ago I was watching the weather channel. He was in a Hurricane down in FL. You could tell he was worried as all kinds of crap was flying by. He said " This is a really bad storm, if you were here you would say this is a really bad storm" in his joe cool voice elevated a few octaves I still laugh about this.
