1982. When the cruiser General Belgrano was sunk by a british submarine, the Soviets offered modified Tu-128B bombers to Argentina. It were outphased Tu-128A fighters, fitted with bomb sight and multiple bomb racks. They were delivered in few weeks, so that the Argentinians were able to hit the british beach heads at the Malvians/Falklands with carpet bombing.
