ekek 18 Posted March 30, 2011 Well, I hope it's not a re-post. I've never seen so many pictures of contemporary SyAAF equipment. http://luftwaffeas.blogspot.com/ MiG-29, Su-22, Su-24, MiG-23 etc. First time I'm seeing these pictures.
Razorback 6 Posted March 30, 2011 Something about those pictures make me wish I had some kind of missile system on my shoulder.
+whiteknight06604 934 Posted March 30, 2011 ditto Razorback. Nothing would make me happier than to see those planes as smoldering wrecks sitting on the desert floor.

JediMaster 451 Posted March 30, 2011 Syria - a bastion of maintenance excellence in the Middle East! No, doesn't work.
ekek 18 Posted March 30, 2011 well have the syrians tried anything since 82? I think the last actual dogfight was in 1985. Since then, I don't think there was anything. I heard some stories of a dogfight over the Mediterranean between the IAF and Syrian Mig-29's in 2001 but there's no confirmation to this. I assume that if it was true, we would hear about it through official channels. You can read about this here: http://s188567700.on...d=196&Itemid=47 Interesting reading material, although probably science fiction. lol
Viggen 644 Posted March 30, 2011 Some of those Floggers have their former operator's markings crudely sprayed over.
Emp_Palpatine 501 Posted March 31, 2011 well have the syrians tried anything since 82? Didn't even took off when Israel bombed their nuclear reactor two years ago. Looks like that actually Israel just switched off Syrian defences during the attack.
