A guy I know at FRC saw the crash when he was out for a run on ops side. He said they were practicing for an airshow demo and that on their last pass they did an aileron roll that ended with the jet crashing near the runway right in front of him. It's a very tragic event for the families of the aircrew and the whole west coast Strike Fighter community. Two of Americas brave sons were killed doing what they loved. Rest In Peace. To the families they left behind, my sincerest condolences.

That's a 20 minute drive from my Mom's house, I have been on that base twice. RIP to the pilots.
