Olham 164 Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) What is in the Picture? - The P4 Screenshot Quiz Just had another stroll through all the lovely new screenshots, and had this idea for a quiz. I will show excerpts from screenshots, and ask questions about them. The first person who can answer all points correctly, will take over and make the next excerpt and ask 3 questions. If the winner cannot make a new picture with his equipment, he will have to name another candidate for the next one. What do you say? Well this is all speculative, considering we're guessing about screenshots from the developer's latest improvements and we're not in the knowledge loop about whether they've actually run the clock forward to reflect the level of damage to the buildings. Olham 164 Posted April 20, 2011 Lewie, just in case you don't know how to catch a screenshot from the link: Press "Print" on your keyboard (top right). Lewie 7 Posted April 20, 2011 I was going to say Amiens, but Our Lady of Amiens Cathedral looks nothing like this... and the steep pitch of the town house buildings in Creaghorn's image reminded me of Ypres, I was mistaken to think the toppled statue was on the Amiens Cathedral. So I get to do the next one, it's a bit like Breguet's Aircraft challnges on The Aerodrome eh? Hmmm.. 1. What is the Aircraft in this cockpit image? 2. Was there alternative ways of carrying the ammo drums, and what were they and where were they mounted? 3. The lever just aft of the fuel pressure gauge, what was it's function? They were also carried outside in a rig along the cockpit rim. 3. I guess, that it is a trim handle, to make inflight elevator trimming possible? Albatros DII 2.It had it's upper wing set lower to improve the pilots field of view. The fuselage to upper wing cabane struts where changed from a set of inverted "V"s to the "N" struts with this model. 3. Those are the paired fuselage mounted engine radiators, this was changed when mounted in upper wing center with the DIII. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Albatros DII 2) Name one major difference to it's predecessor the Albatros DI had a worse forward-view. That's why they rearranged the upper wing and the cabane struts. the changed version was then the albatros DII. 3) What are those "ear-type" things left and right of the craft's nose? radiators, although this "ear" design was soon dropped again.
