artiste Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Does Strike Fighters 2 use PhysX Technology from Nvidia? Quote
liamp51 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I'm not sure of any flight sim that does. I shall have a look... Quote
FalconC45 Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I always thought Physx could do flight modeling if someone give it a try. I think Ghost Recon games uses it for ballistics and for blast physics correct? So why not in trying it on flight modeling. It'll free up cpu power like for example better AI. Falcon Quote
+SkateZilla Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 most games use physX to produce better particle effects, whether it be water, news papers blowing around etc etc. Quote
Gr.Viper Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 rise of flight does iirc Wouldn't that fall under news papers blowing around ? Quote
Wrench Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 wow is right! when it started, I said to myself 'no fair Stary, posting film clips from Blue Max!!' Quote
+Stary Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 you guys were in a cave past two and a half years or something? Quote
+Stary Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 yeah the fallout is gone seriously Rise of Flight went loong way since the release, now it's free -with 4 airplanes, you can buy additional DLC planes to use in campaigns. Oh, the optimization is much better now too Quote
