Paul:

The problem with the transports is a known problem. We've got a fix that will be part of the HotFix we release.

That's what I'ld like to ear from You my friend! :good:

Easter AAR:

You and Dave made a fantastic work. Night attack is a real dream ( ....or nightmare on Iraqi side). The instant action with tanker that leave us in to the fray a real touch of class.

The new Ravenclaws Bucc a joy for eyes (due the nude babies, off course ...) And the naval side with IOWA & C. is oustanding ... and so on.

In a word: super! A must have.

Paolo :drinks:

PS: if it's not yet in your list please check the Viking blank R/L gears.

I am sorry for the really newbie question:

In order to get a latest update of SF2E + SF2NA, what should I do and how and in which order should I patch?

It takes looking away for a week to lose counts of patches and fixes

My idea is SF2E, plus EXP2, plus Nov11, plus SF2A, plus APR2012, is it correct?

Gab, re-download SF2E and other older installs just like I did few days ago, already patched to April 2012 so installation is quick

^Agreed. Always save your original download emails from TW. (I learned THAT the hard way.) If you click on the email download link you will always get the latest greatest version of the given sim.

If you do an upgrade pack you also add the pilot pics done by me or, try to ask, the others done by Capitan Vongeur.

Dave,

interested in repainted, high resolution (4096x4096 main panel texture) Etendard->F1 cockpit? Foxmonter's original looks old:

original with Ordway's additions as used in various F1s in ODS:

I also noticed the odd tiling mismatches, too. the desert tiles are visibly different that their neighboring, for example, sea2desert -- most likely a noise normal or HM issue there that did't exist on the originl terrain. Pity I can't get the frakking terrain to load in the TE ... I'd still LOVE to add the triple cursed rivers and correct the locations for Um Qusar, Basra, and several others at the head of the gulf

Wrench:

The ReadMe clearly specifies that the credits in the new ReadMe cover only the new mods/updates/additions:

This release adds a number of new items to the "Operation Desert Storm" mod package.

The Mod includes the all the documentation for the original version, where you are credited, and explicitly points readers to it:

Credit for the original "Operation Desert Storm" mod package goes to Dave, JSF_Aggie, and the team of modders that contributed to that original release for SFP1. For a list of all the modders whose work is used in the complete "Operation Desert Storm" mod, see the original ReadMes included in \_OriginalReadmes.

Finally, the list in the new ReadMe does give you credit for something new that was incorporated. You are named there and are not, contrary to what you say, "conspicuously absent."

If you do manage to get the terrain loaded in the TE, add the rivers and other goodies, we would be more than happy incorporate it into the mod as part of an update. And, yes, you would get another shout-out in the ReadMe for the updated terrain.

Best,

Eric Howes
