Caproni-Vizzola C.22J, the last airplane built by Caproni and based on the Caproni A.21 Calif glider! I've seen one of those in a nearby museum!

It's a 1942 Peruvian Crop-Duster. The wings were split between fuel tanks and fertilizer spray.

Apparently, yes... I don't have a clue except that it's from the mid-20's to early-30's and probably from Italy/Russia/France/Yugoslavia, based only on the design, beyond that and without cheating, no idea...

Does this count ? Easy or far too vague ? If so let me know and can try to post something else. Dont have access to my books or mags for the cool stuff as reference since I'm in Dubai instead of home, Toronto.

Its the Alexejew I-215. This was an experimental fighter based on captured german design know how.

Further informations you find here:

What bugs me is the apparently circular shape of the wing, I'm sure I've read about that somewhere.

That was vicious, good find, I can't remember ever reading about that one.

Who's next ?

In the meantime, after a far too hard one, let's have a far too easy one...

Hey, I said it was far too easy... had nothing better in stock, we'll see if anyone comes up with something worthy of some head-scratching.
