The January, 2015 issue of Aviation History has an article on the Jules Verne, and the Bombing of Berliln. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a link to it at their site.

Ah, I saw a docu-fiction a few months ago about this bombing raid. Can't find it either. 

 


You have to admire the men who flew machines like this, against Bf-109s and Bf-110s.

 

Yeah, there was the "balls of steel" mission when a flight of Amiot-143 attacked in broad daylight the bridges at Sedan...

Too thin for the He-111, and I think too long for the Bf-110.

Something French, maybe?

the angle fool in max lot the size side i still think its He-111
if not there more lines in the cockpit area for a BF-110

tail side does match He-111
im lost and going to shut my big mought for now!

Don't think it looks like the Fairey Swordfish.

My bet is another Dornier, or an Amiot of some kind.
