Wrench Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 The January, 2015 issue of Aviation History has an article on the Jules Verne, and the Bombing of Berliln. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a link to it at their site. Quote
Emp_Palpatine Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Ah, I saw a docu-fiction a few months ago about this bombing raid. Can't find it either. You have to admire the men who flew machines like this, against Bf-109s and Bf-110s. Yeah, there was the "balls of steel" mission when a flight of Amiot-143 attacked in broad daylight the bridges at Sedan... Quote
Eole Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I found this http://twovoyagers.com/blinkynet.net/wwii/verne.html Quote

Gatling20 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Too thin for the He-111, and I think too long for the Bf-110. Something French, maybe? Quote
+KnightWolf45 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) the angle fool in max lot the size side i still think its He-111if not there more lines in the cockpit area for a BF-110 edit tail side does match He-111im lost and going to shut my big mought for now! +KnightWolf45 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 one last try Swordfish both front and tail shapes match! Quote
Gatling20 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Don't think it looks like the Fairey Swordfish. My bet is another Dornier, or an Amiot of some kind. Quote
+Veltro2k Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 how about now if you can't guess now it's back to observer school Quote
+LloydNB Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Nice. I was thinking of updating my Ju88 skins. Quote
