Heading back to San Diego to become HSC-14 sometime next year. To be honest, I'm just happy to be a part of history I thought I would share this GoPro made by our squadron, perhaps someone here might like it... Day And Night! Being Replaced by HSC = Helicopter Sea Combat = SAR, CSAR, ASuW, VERTREP, NSW, AMCM, etc. The ASW role is going to HSM = Helicopter Maritime Strike = SAR, CSAR, ASW, ASuW, SSC, VERTREP, NSW, etc. HSM also used to be HSL = Helicopter Antisubmarine Light... That's the acronym for Helicopter Strike Maritime. What's wrong with HMS? If so, shouldn't it be HCS = Helicopter Combat Sea?
