Russ, by the way, you do not need to assign the hook to an animation slot. If the pivot point is at the correct location, the game engine will do it for you just fine.

yes but im using it for the wingfold,and hook is now the fake canopy..

just canopy seperate from wingfold.Using your stuff modified.

Hook using proper slot etc...as I assumed if not it wouldnt operate properly on carrier.

wingfold is now false canopy and works a treat now.

Very nice looking, can't wait for it...

Russ, one thing I noted is that the gun vents are off (actually on all released mig29 skins so far not only the one above) in case want to modify before release.

 

They are located a bit back, something like on my attached WIP skin.

Looks as if the Ulyanovsk's air wing will soon receive its first squadron of Fulcrum-Ks :good:

 

look ok to me.

 

The vents need to be back by the weapon's breach. In that skin, the vents are incorrectly placed at mid-barrel. Check the attached image:

btw Im not sure but I think K version didnt have the upper/lex air intakes system and generally lexes were somehow 'flattened' than regular 29s .

One more think MiG-29K has the same air refueling probe as in Su-33 (I can't wait to fly that plane) :airplane:

get 1 thing sorted and another pops up...no matter what...all pylons show up when different weaps selected...

each pylon is linked to proper wing...names are correct and pivots etc..

this is a nightmare.

got the gunport done properly..K has only 1 gunvent and steel plate heat protector...as so...ignore the old vent bump map as im redoing it.

Sea Flanker would be nice too!

 

The Su-33 is in a holding pattern until Marcelo gives the OK to release it. And it's been on hold for more than a year.

Goddamit....pylons now are coming along ok...renamed them and ...fine now...

now summat new..

3d tanks on model...will not fekking drop off when you try to dump the empties.

pivots ok..size correct...linked to pylon...proper callout in the stations data.

double checked weapon entry triple checked and nothing...wish I `d never started this now.

 

opened etc in weaps ed and checked 3x before saving..

Have deselected the 2 sided skin and I still have no working shadow for the fuselage. Volker pointed into a different direction, the poly count. I have also cuttet the Fuselage into different peaces and still no luck with the shadow.
