Hello, about the new TK F-104A and C I asked me why the engine nozzle don't move! I don't know if this is normal. The SF2 F-104G has this animation (ID=6)... Best regards.

Kevin why You don't begin putting togheter all the tweaks You made and upload something for those new planes?

We, the Combat Ace People, need You!

I've done a basic PakAF set for the F-104, with the 14 'owned' aircraft plus the 9 on loan from the RJAF to make up the numbers. The serials tally, needless to say. I'll upload the package tomorrow. Getting late here... Plus I've just noticed I need to invert the fin flash and the tail serial. QED.

100% paki serials in the downlloads section. we did them for the Indo-Pak mod. Should be RJAF in the d/ls too.

looking good Nigel!!

104 AI Pak:

good idea guys, might be just the thing to pull me out of my downer mood (the dat release of their pto mod really kinda did me in a bit). Want to make sure the pit positioning is corret, and so forth.

won't be able to include the pit, of course, and the hangar screen will be the 1stGen converted to SF2 (that's been out for a while). However, it's a natuaral metal skined one .. might look funny on the SEA camo versions

and don't forget, I always edit the loadout ini to give tanks on ALL A-A mission tasking (short legs on the bird and all)

thoughts?

TK never worked for ED that I had heard. He worked for Origin/EA and later Microprose. Remember that despite delays, SF1 came out just about 4 years after EAW, the last big title I remember him working on. If he did anything post-EAW but before SF1, I don't remember.

Thanks Jedi, that's probably what I was (mis) remembering.

Coupi, I tried every animation ID# including _1 and 10, commented out some of the newer entries in the Engine Data section, in short everything I could think of no matter how improbable, there ain't no animation there.

Wrench, I don't know if you saw my post on the previous page, http://combatace.com/topic/78472-new-dlc-ai-plane-pack/page__st__80?do=findComment&comment=626176 but the positions in the Data.ini are 98% identical; even the Pilots seat position is the same, so why not the cockpit? I'm in the process of correcting the Fuel Tank positions/amounts, if you're interested let me know.

Nice work. But there was no "56-1309" serialled PAF Starfighter. The serial number "57-1309" was an PAF F-104B.

As Kevin said, the historically accurate serial numbers are their in the downloads. You might as well use those :-).

I would love to see the RJAF desert camo painted for this model. Atleast a couple of Jordanian F-104As that were sent to Pakistan to take part in the 1971 war were sporting the RJAF desert camo and one of those (56-767) was shot down by an IAF MiG-21FL in the war.

Looking forward to your work :-)

Well spotted! Put it down to making up the numbers...

Which ejection seat is used on the early Starfighters? If we just change the pilot and seat it's a good point to start with! Just for eyecandy!

F-104A - Lockheed/Stanley C-1 ejection seat

F-104C - Lockheed/Stanley C-2 ejection seat (this one was used in the german F-104s too, but was fast replaced by the Martin Baker one.

There is a better seat, eye candy wise in my F-104A+C Pack. I'm posting from my phone because I can't post from my computer. Phone is Safari, computer is IE9. Any ideas?
