The following I noticed have no SF2 conversions in downloads - even though I have had them for years in SF2

Su-15 Flagon A

MiG-25

F-106

Su-27 (Any restrictions on this LOD? )

J-11 (Any restrictions on this LOD? )

AV-8C Harrier

Gloster Javelin

Gnat / Ajeet (Any restrictions on this LOD? )

also - Gloster Meteor F.x

So if anyone has an interest in these then a good time to do a project :)

I think veltro is/was reworking the Jav

pasko's 106 needs a completely NEW FM

check the IndoPak aircraft -- I seem to recall doing SOMETHNG! with the Gnat/Ajeet (other than commenting OUT the airbrakes mesh/nodes to bring the landing gear back to visibility)

Migbuster:

Almost all of those have been converted and are available in one or more comprehensive mods:

Su-15 Flagon A: NATO Fighters 5
MiG-25: NATO Fighters 5 & Op Desert Storm
F-106: NATO Fighters 5 & Op Tainted Cigar
Su-27: NATO fighters 5 & Op Darius
AV-8C Harrier: Op Darius
Gloster Javelin: NATO Fighters 5

It wouldn't take much to extract the relevant components and package them up as individual downloads.

Crikey no - take as long as it needs to reach perfection :)

Well shows how much I know then - and if the jets are in the packs then I guess there are no permissions problems if anyone wants to put them up individually?

cheers guys

I just installed the latest available SF2 Flagon TM today and was reminded that it has a few bugs to fix.

My download is old, but I think I downloaded it 2 months after the date on the version posted here in the new and improved SF2 Downloads section.

So, I think it needs to be updated.

Missile texture files for AA-3's do not match the lod.

Afterburner emitter doesn't work because it is missing one line.

The cockpit is nowhere near the correct position relative to the external 3d model.

I easily fixed all of those problems.

The flight model could use some work, but I have neither the time nor the data to fix that.

Is that the MarcFighter / BPAO Su-27? Are you intending to do the J-11 also?

Was someone reskinning the Flanker pit? What we have is not bad at all, but I saw screens somewhere a while back that were really nice.

If you don't mind, I'd like to take care of the F-106A and make an individual release to newest SF2 standards.
I did a new FM where the AI don't fly their Wings off or fall like a chicken from the sky  and it's still nice and challenging to fly & with the right cruise speed etc. I have also a couple of new unreleased textures laying here.
Just give me a little bit of time... you know... two weeks...

As for the Gnat, I tested it and as far as I remember, I rated it as "ok for AI"

As for the Mig-25, AI sucks, I wonder if we could adapt the Lightning AI : because it looked better for me.

I am on Hollydays, mybe when I will be back ?

There are some nice tutorials over the net where you can leanr how to make planes and objects ;)

But if you have specific question, we can help you solve them :big_boss:

hey MB, I have a Javelin pak already set for upload. the zip is dated from last year!!

Apparently, I never uploaded it!! Or, it got lost in the file messup

if you want, I can post it. it's all the skins and decals in one pack. Like the others, it has all the small problems with shadows and such, but seem to fly ok otherwise.

OTH, it DOES require the Expansion Paks (whichever one!) that gave us the EE Lightning, as it uses that pit.
