Or just the final gasp for air......................

The rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated

Currently we're leveraging 3rd-party technology to improve time-to-market. A very positive consequence of this move is that we may have console and mobile versions as well.

But the best consequence is that now the game will see the light of day after all these years. It's been a long time without updates in this main page, but meanwhile we did updates in our
Facebook fan page
.

There was an release annouced for early 2011..... *lol*

quote from Aerosoft Forum:

After some careful consideration we decided to change the release plan for Jet Thunder: Falklands/Malvinas a little bit. Though this means a bit of delay, the first release will be bigger then first planned. Let me explain:

Jet Thunder: Ground Attack
includes: BAe Harrier GR.3 and FMA IA-58 Pucara
Release January 2011, download only
price €22.63 (€27.95)

Release June 2011, download only
Add-on, needs Jet Thunder: Ground Attack
price €14.53 (€17.95)

Full game, download and boxed

Full price €32.35 (€39.95) same for box and download
Update price €14.53 (€17.95), update assumes both previous releases installed

For me it is just another ghost sim....

I'll be on the lookout for flying pigs and the four horsemen.

I'd love yo see this released but having looked at the FB page:

" When I thought it would be done in months, its been over a year - when I thought there was only weeks left, there was in fact months - now in my head its read for beta any day - so maybe by my record, realistically - a few more weeks.

28th September 2011"

They thought it was going to be ready in in a few weeks 2 years ago, think they've lost touch with reality :(

so... can I finally delete my aerocrapsoft account? lol

shame it's hard for me to believe, I was and still am advocate for this, but... will believe when there's shiny Jet Thunder icon on my desktop with cursor dying of anticipation over it and my palm shaking of joy...

umm, thinking of it, "palm shaking of joy" isn't the best sentence I could come up with

post scriptum: that screenshot... I can come up with better with any of my cockpits and Bryce...

and Dante, just be fair with us, I count on you

I forgot about this one... in today's combat sim world I think it would be hard to beat ED and the Lock-On series

anyways good luck to them

Depends on what you're looking for. It this is looking to fit in between SF2 and LOMAC/FC with full MP ability, I think it could succeed regardless of what ED is doing.

However, it has to actually be RELEASED to do that.
