Sons of Guns" star Will Hayden was arrested in Louisiana over the weekend for suspicion of molestation and crimes against nature, ET has learned. Will, 44, was arrested, booked and released on Saturday after posting a $150,000 bond, according to his booking sheet. According to an internet report, Hayden's ex-girlfriend accused him of molesting their child, but Hayden refuted the claim, saying that his ex fabricated the story because she was upset about the breakup. Will is the founder and owner of Red Jacket Firearms in Baton Rouge. He and his shop were the focus of Discovery Channel's reality show "Sons of Guns," in which he was the main gunsmith. +JonathanRL 974 Posted August 12, 2014 I admit I almost stopped watching Sons of Guns after a while. "A while" being when there was more drama then gun building. About the case in question, I am a bit surprised about the amount of whitewashing going on with vague arguments. I'm not defending the guy nor chastising him; however I do find it interesting that such an allegation would be made. I'm not a faithful fan of the show because, like both of you said, they do have more drama than a desperate housewives show but every once in a while they'll get a cool project that keeps me interested. +ST0RM 145 Posted August 12, 2014 I was impressed with the show the first few years, but like you all, got fed up with the drama. I've watched sparingly over the last few years. I've read some back story on Red Jacket, and they've had some trouble with the ATF. Apparently their license has been pulled a few times. In the US all it takes is an "allegation" of sexual misconduct or abuse and a man's (keyword MAN) life and career are ruined forever. If he is found guilty then it is on the sexual predator's list for the rest of his life (although I do agree with the need for having a such a list), if he is completely exonerated most people (including the authorities in the jurisdiction he lives in) are still going to assume he "did something wrong" and will treat him accordingly. In the court of public opinion, which seems to be the only court that matters, he is finished... They are investigating the Ex now. In this instance there is really no difference when a police officer or government official knowingly and willingly official commits perjury in court or during an official hearing and there is written evidence (official reports, video, etc.) that shows everything contrary to their testimony or account. It is about "getting their man". Almost all the realty TV shows are contrived "faux" dramas, although not my cup of tea, I can understand how some people can find them entertaining. I will occasionally watch one of the millions of variations of "Pimp my Ride" that come on one of Discovery network or Speed channels. What really pains me is what the History Channel has become, the name changes of the "Anything but" Wings, Military, what are you being called this week Channel, and the slow death of TLC (which was the first channel in that grouping to go). Speaking of Frontline, it looks like PBS is trying ti damnedest to play in the "cable TV" sandbox with its realty tv and cartoon line-ups. Miss the good old days of watching Frontline and local documentaries/dramas on weeknights and classic British comedies on weekends. Yeah they will and it might happen sooner too because every time I turn around the cable company keeps hiking their F*ing rates up for whatever BS reason. Soon the only thing cable TV will be good for is weather reports and I don't know what else... there aren't any good entertaining shows anymore that aren't full of over dramatic bull. ( or like the one last week on FX that was basically a soft-core porn) It would be neat if they could let me opt out of channels so I can lower my rate. Also be prepared, I don’t have to watch what I say anymore because of a TV show. First off Im going to go with innocent till proven guilty because that is the law of the land BUT there is a ton of evidence out there. Ive known who the accuser is for a while now and I can tell you 100% I believe her. She isn’t looking for cash she is just doing whats right. So did the folks at Discovery and Jupiter productions. I appreciate what they did. And to Discov and Jupiter and most of the guys at RJF, I had a ton of fun with it Thank you. Now to the point at hand, this may sounds harsh but ya know what fuck it. If he is guilty hang him. From the tallest tree, with piano wire. I consider the folks I was on the show with my friends and I will always be there for em and I hate what the family is going through but remember one egotistical asshole did this.
