+Dave 2,322 Posted September 15, 2014 http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/watch-this-haunting-time-lapse-of-aircraft-boneyards-1570449397 Watch the video and listen to what these pilots are saying. They put into words how I feel when I see these planes. I too look at an aircraft and wonders its story. You can't keep them all but they have a story and that almost gives them life. Skyviper 1,101 Posted September 15, 2014 That was beautiful. Brought a little tear to my eye Amazing find. It would be cool if some of those could be restored. Awesome planes don't deserve to wither away like that. They are monuments to the people who designed them, built them, flew and maintained them.

+Menrva 4,200 Posted September 15, 2014 Damn... but where's the Tomcat? It's a great time-lapse video, seeing these U.S. aircraft that made history under the blue sky they used to fly in, what a sight!
JediMaster 451 Posted September 15, 2014 All the Tomcats got butchered for fear of Iran getting their hands on any parts.
Caesar 305 Posted September 23, 2014 Think there's 11 left; all B's and D's, at least one has been on a museum waiting list for YEARS. Every other one that was at AMARG was destroyed as JM said.
+Jarhead1 27 Posted November 23, 2014 Exactly what are they going to do with all those aircraft? If they were gonna scrap them I guess they would have already done it
