Gterl and I have started a Spanish Civil War mod.  We have barely begun, and it will take a loooooong time to complete.  Shots below are the first batch of new, dedicated ground objects being made for the mod - Republican vehicles.

don't search for errors, wrong colours, etc.....it's all WIP. But I guess you get the idea.

Hello gterl and Geezer. If you plan an all-inclusive mod, with campaigns and additional decorum, I may help you for the medals sets (for Spanish Republican, Spanish Nationalist, German, Italian and Soviet pilots). I have designed and uploaded already a medals set for the Legion Condor, for the all-inclusive add-on about the Spanish Civil War the Dev A-Team had developed for SF1. And I have some other medals in works in progress that could seem fit. Just let me know if you are interested in.

Also, a lot of SF code is dormant in FE.  Below, Gepard explains how to wake the dormant code so radio, flaps, landing gear, bomb bay doors, etc will work in FE.

 

 

The planes are full operational in First Eagles. The only trick was to copy the controls settings of WoE to FE. So the gears can be moved in and out, the flaps can be set and so on. Then only some changes in the speech system, message system etc and FE has the communication comfort of WoE.

I have a bunch of old models for the 1937-1938 Sino-Japanese war laying around on my HD.  Maybe I can get around to them after the 1940 desert and SCW mods.

I'm out for 3 weeks by now, and afterwards shall keep on working on other medals packs (by testing, I realized that some conditions I was using for awarding do not work the way they should). When everything fixed, I plan to work on Fascist Italian medals for WW2; I shall add a panel dedicated to the SCW. When delivered, let me know for the Spanish awards, both sides.

The Webley pistol needs simplification - its borrowed from a 1937-38 China mod I toyed with several years ago.

Steve and I have agreed to resume work on the SCW mod.  There is a tremendous amount of work to do, so progress will be slllooooooowwww.
