Yankee Air Pirate Exp. sets

Does anybody know if the planes listed in each expansion set are already included in the main YAP3 set or are they only available within their respective set?

Does anyone have more info, or news, about the Yankee Air Pirate remake (mod/expansion?) for SF2 from Revamp Works Team? I found some very interesting info on their page, trying to keeping the original idea alive (http://yankeeairpirate.net/yap-revamp-works/) Thanks!!

I'm curious...will the revamp cost money?

They obviously used my Skyhawk-Templates for that VA-86 skin and cockpit-repaint-mod (which is fine, unless it's included or used for payware).

As far as I know it will not cost money. The founders of YAP, John Shelton and Mike Figursky, are no longer with us. The revamp was done in their honor and the new team acquired access to the YAP site. From what I know they have been in contact with John's family. This revamp also includes some of my mods, I gave permission to include them as long as it is not payware.

if so, that opens several possibilities for adding some aircraft that are missing from that era's hangar : A-1E and T-28s; All the FMs will need rebuilding from SF1 to SF2 standards, as I'm sure other little tweeks and twerks.

I'm pretty new to SF2 and never had YAP or SF1 so this might be a dumb question.  Didn't the original YAP have some nice aircraft carriers that were (and still are I think) payware?  In some screen shots I've seen are some gorgeous carriers with lots of deck crew and other eye candy.  So I'm guessing those are original YAP carriers that are making it into the revamp.  Will they be able to offer the revamp as freeware if those models are included?

My understanding is that they have access to all of the YAP mods. I’m sure an announcement will be made in due course.
