+Geezer Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 As I near completion of the Pfalz, Heck is test flying the hell out of it to find the problems I always overlook. Also got started mapping the new Halberstadt CL.IV. 6 2 Quote
Verdun Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 That looks really nice, Geezer! After the Pfalz, that Halberstadt CL.IV is the one I look forward to the most! it looks awesome! And the ring sight is a very nice touch! :) Thank you for doing this! 2 Quote
+Geezer Posted November 23, 2017 Author Posted November 23, 2017 You're welcome. Test shots of the CL4 as I start to rough in markings for one of several color schemes I like. 7 Quote
+VonS Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Looks beautiful! I’ll tweak the FM eventually for the older CL.IV that’s in the downloads area and then we can easily readjust some of the coordinates to make the data ini fit your greatly improved model Geezer. Happy flying, Von S 2 Quote
+Geezer Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 (edited) Progress shot on the cockpit art. Because of the antique game engine's rudimentary lighting, I am painting the fall of light into the artwork. Edited November 24, 2017 by Geezer 4 Quote
jeanba Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 It is great that you are working so hard on the cockpit After all, when we fly one of your creation, 90% of the time, we see the cockpit, not the external plane :) Thank you !!!! 1 Quote
+Geezer Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Heck and VonS are having a great time testing the Pfalz handling, and then comparing notes. Meanwhile, I took it for a quick spin above gterl's Vosges2. 10 Quote
+Geezer Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 Heck, VonS, and I have been discussing the possibility of a dual release of the Pfalz D3a and Nieuport 28. "Fighting The Flying Circus!" 9 Quote
+Geezer Posted November 26, 2017 Author Posted November 26, 2017 We've been having problems getting the Pfalz D3 cockpit to display, probably because we are using a hodge-podge of files which are not always compatible. For a reality check, I loaded a rough version of the cockpit into the old Pfalz DR1 model. Shots below show it being nudged into position. 8 Quote
JacksonM Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 I wanted to add a "like" and then I saw this message: "Sorry, you cannot add any more reactions today." What is it???? How is it possible????? Geezer, airplanes are awesome! Thank you very much! Quote
+Geezer Posted November 27, 2017 Author Posted November 27, 2017 While Heck and VonS sort out the file conflicts, they leave me free to work on models and artwork. 4 1 Quote
