Could be real. Sukhoi planes are usually really tough.

I remember that an east german Su-22 had "eaten" their own pitot probe without harming the engine.

I remember a story from Vietnam where a recon drone's mission flight altitude was programmed with a misplaced decimal. The drone came back from its mission with a tree branch stuck to it.

Doubt it is actually true but I heard a story in a bar once about an RAF Tornado (actually might have been a Buccaneer?) from the Gulf War... well you've all heard of bird strikes... this guy supposedly had a Camel strike
