We used to use AF ranks, they seem ordinary at this point. Plus those who have earned those ranks in real life, feels a little bit of a disservice to toss them around like they mean nothing. That's kind of why we changed to the old groups / badges.

My favorite response so far. 3 is GOATed, 1 & 2 most practical and easier to badge but I could see 3, it's unique and I like that. Need someone to graphic some ideas. I think it was @Geezer that made our last badges and they served us well, miss that guy. Opinions on my thoughts welcome.

Hi all, Our forum assigns roles and perks based on each member's group name. Those group names are things like New Member, Gold Member, Senior Member, Modder Member, and so on. I'd like to come up with a set of names for our primary users and need six of them. I tried something aviation squadron related, it's what we're using now, and I'm not in love with it at all. So I'm going to reach out to all of you for your input and ideas. For the trouble and in the sense of fun I'd be willing to throw in a gift card or membership for the winning set. Let's see if we can generate some involvement and some ideas at the same time. Let me know your ideas. Erik

Yep, I was making some changes and removed them from our skin sets for just the phone version. So either your tablet is cosplaying as a phone or your phone is cosplaying as a tablet. The sidebar should be back and viewable on your phablet. Thanks for the report.

Your upgrade to the Free Membership hadn't happened yet. There's a 5-10 minute delay from login to account upgrade. The task has to get in line with all the other things happening behind the scenes. This is just normal operation of the new system so we don't cancel paid memberships or knock the admins off their accounts by mistake. Glad it's working as intended.

I have no idea, we have thousands of files and hundreds of directories. Make my job easy and link the file or provide a URL so I can look at the specific file and category listing. That's probably what I'd say you're missing. Thanks for the report and let me know what you come up with.

I reset the permission set and I've tested it multiple times. Everything says it should be working.

Didn't know you never saw it before, interesting. The minimum is 5 seconds because of the way we're storing files now, the system has to grab it and stage it for download. Thanks for the field report.

I guess it helps if I take that subscription plan I was working on out of testing mode. Sorry, I'm not all there apparently. Try again and let me know. For everyone that might be confused or that I confused. I edited my original post to update the program. New members start off in the JAGDSTAFFEL 11 (Red Baron's Squadron). After completing two posts in the forums within the past 45 days, and your account is 30 days or older your account will promote to the HAT IN THE RING Squadron. Once you've been promoted the Free Subscription automatically gets added to your account. It will take the task 5-10 minutes to poll the membership and make the promotions after you've logged in. That's the final piece if nothing is happening, log out and back in again. Once the task sees the new log in salt it knows to check your account.

If your account isn't bumping; try logging and out, closing the browser, and then logging back in. That should trigger the task to promote your account, takes about 10 minutes to run after fresh log in. Report back if it's working or still broken.

Mue I really don't have time for this right now. It's over a $1000 a month to host high availability live data like ours. I research it every month in hopes the prices come down. It's not like using cloud storage like you'd buy for one-drive or from amazon, those prices are dirt cheap because it's low access content.

Ive reached out multiple times with no answer. I will also add our traffic is skewed really heavily with Europe, South America, and Africa being primary aggressors, the US is in the mix with China and Malaysia right behind them.
