  1. If you like that, you'll love this: AHM problem solved...had to build the rack separately...also managed to reduce the poly count vs the previous method I was using. Nice thing is that legacy Hornets can use the rack too. However, another problem has surfaced...the inner 2 pylons on each wing are too close to each other...I suspect one of them isn't in quite the right position. No worries, though...that's an easy fix...you just might want to hold off on the underside detailing until I nail the position down. FC
  2. While EricJ, Dave, and JAT work on skins and decals, additional modeling and ini progress: New external tank in game. Sparrow, Maverick, ARM and AAM rails in game. Additional animations added. Have run into a snag on the AAM rails...I'm getting some weirdness when trying to load multiple IRM or AHM weapons on a pylon. I'm sure it's an ini issue... FC
  3. Terrains: All-in-one GermanyCE terrain compilation (includes CA_stary seasons, Brain32 tiles, JSF_aggies road bases, etc) Aircraft: F-107 - Updates, plus F-107C. Model tweaking needed, then off to Dave for paint and decals. T-38A/B and F-5B - Skins and decals needed. F-5F and Sagheah - FM tweaks and decals needed. Skins by pappychksix and EricJ. F-35 - Minor tweaks needed for FM (AI) and final skins/decals needed for B and C model. XF-103 - Skin and lights tweaks needed. F-111 - Minor tweaks (slimers and lights for all models). F/A-18E/F/G - Modeling still WIP. EricJ skins, JAT skins and FM, Dave decals. SF-400 - Skins and decals...FM tweaks. FC

  7. Dave, PM me those SAC skins and I'll make the wingtip slimers in the right place. Also, from what I can tell, not all variants of the F-111 had slimers. Do you happen to know which variants had them? FC

  10. Interesting...so no MERs, TLRs, and a max of 2 weapons per pylon. Thanks for that. I think I have enough info (other than a few pictures of the weapons rails) to get a good idea how to build the model. FC
  11. Eric, That's the kind of info I need! One more thing, I've been scouring and my google-fu isn't great. Do you have a diagram that shows what can be loaded on what pylons? That way I figure out what rails need to go where? FC
  12. Wrench, Thanks for finding this...you da man! I guess TK added this feature in the Oct 08 patch...sneaky! Anyway, I was thinking this for the XF-103 as well...oh, some related news, I've got ALL the bays to automatic, even the rockets. You should see what happens with a multi rocket shot... Now if I could just improve their aim.... FC

  14. Well, we actually used to use them on a regular basis. 18000 lbs of fuel in what looks like a giant white soda can. Of course, back in the early days, there's a story of accidently 'rotating' the tank in the bay, causing it to separate and smash through the bomb doors...the world's biggest FAE. FC
  15. Wrong Node name...there is no 'VertTail' on the F-107. The proper name is VerticalStab. FC
  16. EricJ, You have the MAX file for the fuel tanks??? Go ahead and PM it to me, I figured since I'm already working on the SupaBug...might as well make the package complete... FC
  17. woah, Woah, WOAH! If that's true, SEVERAL other models (including the F-111s) would be fixed.... FC PS Verified! They DO work!!! Though you have to have another line in the entry: MovingLight=TRUE...ya forgot to mention that Wrench... Now I gotta go into the F-111 files...and we can get those position lights on the Bone to look correct... Woohoo!

  21. It IS difficult. Tell me how to change the Sidewinder and Inner Wing Tank stations through the loadout screen if I want something different? You CAN'T under your system. You can either have asymmetric loads, or you can have control of all the pairs of pylons. NOT both. FC
  22. I'm having issues too. I don't do props, but I use the 'spinner' to make turbines that move. Ever since the patch, I find my 'blades' just don't rotate very fast. RPMs seem to have no effect. Anyone know what I can adjust to make them spin faster? FC
  23. Yes, you'll see 2 different lines in the weapondata.ini: Mass=655.450012 and MaxFuelAmount=574.710022 The difference is the empty weight of the tank. And from what I can tell, I think there is a difference between a full and empty one on the performance of the aircraft. FC
