  1. The Mainstay is still available, we use it in Midvintermörker with full permission. It will be flying for the opposing force :) Daddy does however raise an excellent point about the air defense network.
  2. Interesting Indeed. Did you just exchange the aircraft; or did you actually base it at Keflavik, or was it a single mission?
  3. Another thing is that an AWACs aircraft needs to be tied to a Naval Group to show up proper, at least as far as I have discovered. I found a shortcut for this a while back: http://combatace.com/topic/71624-fake-awacs-in-campaigns-tutorial
  4. Ok, so I will soon start making this campaign so here are the Results of the Swedish Vote: 12 Points go to : Harrier GR 9 for Estonia JAS 39 Gripen for Latvia JAS 39 Gripen for Lithuania L 39 for Lithuania Any further suggestions for the Baltic Air Forces? Thinking about maybe an AWACs Aircraft or similar, but unsure if we have any of those.
  5. Since SF2, it is impossible to have more then one mission per day for some reason.
  6. Set Mission rate to 1 - and it is one per day. Same with offensive. That is however how it seems in TSF where I put missions for about every third day.
  7. I admit I hope that TK will give modders more responsibility (and I think sales would increase if he did), but its sad to see that he goes the opposite way. I can understand he wanting to turn off the Lods for his own reasons, but turning off scrips? What is the point in that? I think TKs main issue with this is that he feels that if we ask for a feature or mode or whatever, he feels it is he who needs to do the content for the new feature when it is not true. My request for the activation of the Submarine Warfare mode is a perfect example. And the blunder with Day Night Scrips - dont get me started on that one.
  8. Fix 1.1 uploaded for the lack of radar on J 35S / J35S (90).
  9. View File TSF J 35 Draken Ilmavoimat Package The Scandinavian Front Saab J-35S Draken Ilmavoimat Package By Team TSF & Friends The second and final new-build Draken order came from the Suomen Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Force) in April 1970 for 12 all-weather interceptor 35XS (export Suomi) aircraft to be built in Finland by Valmet from Swedish "knock-down" parts. Seven J35Bs, stripped of all-weather avionics, were leased to the Ilmavoimat in 1972 as the 35BS in preparation for the new aircraft and were bought outright in 1976. The first new build aircraft were delivered in April 1974, the last of the new aircraft arrived in 1975 and all were designated 35S. Six ex-Swedish J35Fs (as the 35FS) and three Sk35Cs (as 35CSs) were bought in 1976 at the same time as the 35BS aircraft mentioned above, and another ex-J35F (18 aircraft) and Sk35C (2 aircraft) order followed in 1984. The arrival of two-seat trainers in Finland meant that pilot conversion could now take place "at home" instead of in Sweden. Initially Drakens were delivered to HävLLv 11 of the Hämeen Lennosto (Häme region Wing) based at Tikkakoski near Jyväskylä in central Finland. Later, HävLLv 11 relocated to the extreme north, taking up residence at the base of Rovaniemi within Lapin Lennosto (Lapland region Wing). In 1984 a second Draken unit was formed as HävLLv 21 of the Satakunnan Lennosto (Satakunta region Wing) at Pirkkala, near Tampere in south-western Finland. This package contains three aircraft. J 35BS, J 35S & J 35S 1990 refit. They are correctly armed with Swedish-built missiles. Have fun, Juhis! Installation: Go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Your Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents. Unzip the contents of the 7zip files into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites. These aircraft could carry heavy bombs as well as Bullpup missiles, during the WDNS upgrade of the 1980s they received the ALQ-162 jammer a Marconi 900 Series HUD and a Ferranti LRMTS (laser rangefinder and marked target seeker) Package contains two aircraft, F 35 version and the upgraded F 35 (82) version. Both birds are nice strike aircraft, albeit more sluggish then the standard Draken. Have fun! Installation: Go to your Mod Folders. I taken a few liberties with the 82 version, as sources was hard to find. 13. Apologies, mate. I seem to have forgotten the actual instructions. If you installed TSF already, simply unzip this package in the same folder as TSF. Otherwise, refer to TSF Installation Instructions first. Go to your Mod Folders. For Windows 7/Vista, this is located in C:\Users\Your Name\Saved Games\Thirdwire. For Windows XP Users, it is usually in My Documents. Unzip the contents of the 7zip files into the mod folder of your choice. Allow any overwrites. Remember that the folder you unzip the game into is the .exe you have to run.

  15. Glorious Comrade Stary shows Beuty of GREAT LEADER Kim Jong Un and the nation! ;-) Great work, mate!
  16. First of all, the Fighter Versions of the Lansen did not come into service until late in the fifthies and it was mostly meant as a night / bad weather fighter - not day fighter duties. Despite where technology was heading, it was considered too heavy for the task. A Day Fighter Version was indeed planned, but J 34 Hawker Hunter chosen instead.
  17. You need to have Strike Capable Aircraft as well as interceptors in your install for the Escort Missions. Do the Aircraft you are to escort show up? If so, download a modern Interceptor like MiG-29 Fulcrum or Su-27 Flanker. The Anti-Ship issue is a collission lod thing, that begun with SF2: NA. One of the latest patches fixed it as far as I know.
  18. Hawker Hunter was bought for the same reason as the US Navy adopted the F 11F Tiger. They wanted a hedge against any delay in the Draken (Crusader in US Navy case) program.
  19. The J 35 did not carry countermeasures. And no, No open Canopy.
  20. Just get the NATO Fighters 5 Mod. It is pretty much what you are looking for.
  21. You and I have a very different view on what "freely avalible" is. For me, in modding terms, "Freely available" means I can secure permission easily to post the mod under certain conditions. While these conditions may vary, the general giest of it is that the mod is easy to get. Signing up on A-Teams site is a procedure that took me a few weeks to complete back when I was a member. I make my Campaigns All Inclusive and making one of those with an A-Team Viggen would mean every single person who wanted the Campaign had to sign up on A-Teams site. While it can be argued that people need to sign up to CombatAce as well, it is a much easier process and one none of the fans of TSF within the Swedish or Finnish flight community ever protested to. If somebody wants just the Viggen, yes it will be easier to just sign up to A-Team. If somebody wants to use it in a mod that can be posted somewhere else then A-Teams site, then they have to wait for ours.
  22. I would not call anything released by A-Team "available". But yes, it is roughly the same model. I dont know if the pilot tube is still in the wrong place, or if Cocas fixed that but honestly, I do not care. Our main objective with this Aircraft is to have a stand-in in until somebody makes a completely new aircraft - and if somebody does not do a new aircraft, then we have a Viggen at CA available for all, and then I can live with a pilot tube in the wrong place.
  23. View File TSF J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package The Scandinavian Front J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package By Team TSF & Friends The Saab 35 Draken (English: "Kite") was a Swedish fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. The Draken was built to replace the Saab J 29 Tunnan and, later, the fighter variant (J 32B) of the Saab 32 Lansen. The indigenous J 35 was an effective supersonic Cold War fighter that was also successfully exported to Austria, Denmark and Finland. Please note: We lack a proper "Early" Draken Model, and as such, the A/B versions are incorrect and use the same 3D Model as the 35D/F/J versions. If you already have the TSF Mega Package, you will only find minor edits, weapons as well as the J 35J to be new to this package. Hence, it is worth grabbing.
