  1. We put the "At least" since SF versions would require a new nose. Since I know next to nothing about 3D, I leave most of the decisions regarding such things up to the people who I enlist for the task. I will forward the suggestion, but no promises. I might however recommend you to try Ice Cream & Beer if you seek to bribe them

The Scandinavian Front J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package By Team TSF & Friends The Saab 35 Draken (English: "Kite") was a Swedish fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. The Draken was built to replace the Saab J 29 Tunnan and, later, the fighter variant (J 32B) of the Saab 32 Lansen. The indigenous J 35 was an effective supersonic Cold War fighter that was also successfully exported to Austria, Denmark and Finland. Please note: We lack a proper "Early" Draken Model, and as such, the A/B versions are incorrect and use the same 3D Model as the 35D/F/J versions. If you already have the TSF Mega Package, you will only find minor edits, weapons as well as the J 35J to be new to this package. Hence, it is worth grabbing. 3. Model is made by Anders Lejczak, used with written permission. Conversion, bug fixing and version adjustments are made by Cocas. Current texture was provided with the model and used as a stand in. Finished Aircraft will be skinned by Paulopanz. Hopefully we can provide templates but no promises. It will be armed with the beautiful weapons made by Ravenclaw007. So what is left for us to do? A lot. The airplane needs a flight model, some of the major 3D bugs with the landing gear / landing gear bay needs to be fixed as well as a plethora of other things. The Aircraft will be released as a part of a TSF Package, but also available standalone a few days later. We cannot give a time table since we want it to be as good as possible, but we will try not to drag out on it. The Airplane will be made in at least SH-37, AJ-37 & JA 37 configurations. It will be placed in a Campaign alongside its Nordic companions from the same day and age from Finland, Denmark and Norway. People who think they may be able to aid in the project are welcome to send a PM.
  4. That is pretty much what Strike Fighters 2 is all about. Suggest you check them out.

  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8TjXx23iio&hd=1 In order to keep suspence, more information will follow in a few hours. Keep in mind that what you watch is a early Alpha; we still have bug fixes (3D and otherwise) and FM work to do.
  7. Nasty thing to meet if you happen to be in a Jet !
  8. You know they say IOS and Android App Ads take their source material from information on the phone?
  9. You will not see a "TSF Android" or "TSF IOS". I promise.
  10. As a person on a Swedish Flight Sim forum said: "DCS is starting to look like a wierd form of FSX where weapons and missions are flown at times, but where people spend most of their time formation flying since they have nothing good to fly against unless they own LOMAC, a superior title."

  12. Fubar512, if you take off anything from that, we got something to meet it with! J 35J Draken by Ravenclaw! Most terrific work!
  13. That is one beautiful lady!
  14. A-Team has a update on their site, for their model but FM is still off and facts still rather wrong. Any further information regarding the Saab Viggen in combination with SF2 and/or mods is classified at the highest levels. ;-)
  15. Vietnam is needed for Carriers, J-6, B-57B and a few other things. SF2NA does not work around that.
  16. All hail glorious comrade Leader Wrench! He created Korea on a simple, Korean Computer for the benefit of the people and Woe of the Capitalist Imperialists!
  17. The F-14 Tomcat Viewlist Mod has a very similar mode. You will be unable to see the HUD ofc, but the Aircraft will be down bottom in your screen and fixed there.
  18. There is one. Operation Darious, for SF2. You will not find many who makes Campaigns for SF1 nowadays.
  19. Commander, prepare me a new installation!
  20. Well, here is the thing: What you see in the Squadron List are not Squadrons, they are "Flottiljer". Each Flottilj is centered around a peacetime airstrip, and several war time airstrips, during the cold war they where hidden in forests, or nearby civilian strips, or highway strips. The translation of the word Flottilj is Air Wing and they work pretty much the same way. At every flottilj, there is one to five divisions attached. Most Flottiljer specializes in either attack or fighter; with recon divisions attached. So, Saying F 7 Såtenäs is a squadron is wrong, but it works in Squadronlist anyway since few - if any - in Sweden bothers mentioning the divisions unless they say where they server or telling a tale. Or writing a book.
  21. Tell that to A-Teams tweakers. That is however not the only problem with that bird, there is quite a few. Loadout issues, hole in model issues, the list goes on. But yes, the Viggen is a glory to see fly. I saw her at an airshow this summer. The sound alone, m´boys, the sound alone! If I where on a Soviet ship and heard that, I´d be quaking in my boots.
  22. It can be done, but its more cost effective to waste your ordinance on the Aircraft who release them. That way, the Ships will not fire on any stray aircraft that got close; only on the Cruise Missiles.
