J 34H Hawker Hunter (Fictional) In the late 1960s, the J 34 was one of the aircraft scheduled to be decommissioned, and replaced with more modern aircraft. At the same time however, arose the question of disbanding the Flottilj at F 8 Barkarby in its entirety. Worried that troops who might do battle in the area of Stockholm would be vulnerable to enemy air attack without sufficient support themselves, it was decided to keep two divisions of Hawker Hunters, refitted for close attack duties until the Viggen could properly cover the entire area. In 1978, evalutation showed that the Hunter pilots - experts in close air support and anti helicopter duties - was an asset too valuable to loose. An attempt was made to find them new aircraft, but the Hawker Hunters proved better then any of the alternative, as well as cheaper. To reinforce their worth, the aircraft was given modern HUDs, a new in-wing pylon for RB 75 Maverick and the development of a new bomb capsule device was pushed forth. The Hawker Hunters would continue to serve from Bromma & Arlanda Airports until 2003, when they would be retired - having outlasted three of the Aircraft meant to replace them. Five was preserved. One for the Swedish Air Force Museum, one for the Swedish Air Force Historical Flight and two as gate guards for Arlanda and Bromma. Arlanda Airport also has one standing inside Terminal 5, where visitors may climb into the cockpit and learn more of the aircraft. -
I tried recruting voice actors who went sent the package with files they are to record over, instructions and so on _never_ does any work whatsoever. Quite mad at that actually. And that is just the Swedish ones. Might yell at them a little bit more, or try getting new ones. Finnish could be ripped from Il-2 if anybody is feeling up for it - but Norwegian and Danish is going to be a pain and prob not done at all.

Wings over Vietnam / SF2: Vietnam does not have Intercept available in stock, as such - above option will not work. You will need to enable it. Go to VietnamSEA.ini - it is found in the Terrains folder. Find this line [AllowedMissionTypes] There is a list that should look like this. FriendlyMissionTypes=SWEEP,CAP,ESCORT,INTERCEPT,STRIKE,SEAD,RECON,ANTI_SHIP EnemyMissionTypes=SWEEP,CAP,ESCORT,INTERCEPT,STRIKE,SEAD,RECON,ANTI_SHIP Add ,INTERCEPT to both in the same manner as the other missions. Done.

Need Idea
JonathanRL replied to RAVEN's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - Mods & Skinning Discussion
The TSF Jaktraketkapsel works in a similar manner and are tagged as IRM; since this makes the pilots more inclined to actually use them. Data file attached. Weapons.rar -
Also note that DCS Black Shark 1 is going for 6 euro (or local equal)

To attack the naval force, the opposing sides - in this case the Empire of Paran - needs to be aware of its existance. Naval Strike & Anti_Ship 0 is ineffective, as regular strike missions can also be done against a naval force. If you do not wish it to be attacked, set the naval task force intelligence to 0 and make sure the Empire of Paran does not have any aircraft preforming Naval Search role. The Suprise Attack is usually only to set the first mission to be a scramble mission and will reduce allied air activity for the first day or so of the Campaign.

KAW F7F-3N Tigercat

The Tigercat is a sweet ride! -
In Sweden (Sorry Israel, I really am); the Iron Dome is regarded as "but they wont hit anything thanks to Iron Dome, so why does Israel retaliate." by the general public. Oh dear, I am so sick of people here who does not seek news and believe all they are fed by the media who seems to only publish Hamas press releases. Fortunately, they are too busy gloating over a political mistake by the most hated party in the Parliament, or they would probably give Israel alot more heat. Stay safe!

....alongside other nice things such as Cossacks & Blitzkrieg. Il-2 Package can be found here and is most recommended for anybody who is unfamiliar with the best WW2 game of them all! GoG.com is dependable, DRM Free and the bloody best reseller of old games you will find. Enjoy!

Soviet Constant X/Have X aircraft?
JonathanRL replied to thodouras95's topic in Military and General Aviation
As far as I heard, in 1979, a Iranian F-14 Tomcat was delivered to the Soviet Union for trials. -
Star Wars the Old Republic goes Free to Play today - or soon within your time zone. If you enjoyed Knights of the Old Rebublic and/or Mass Effect/Dragon Age, you will probably find this game enjoyable as the "solo content" and class storylines up to lvl 50 is avalible without charge making it a good and solid single player experience. If you want the more refined MMO things, expect to have to pay up for it. Simple as that. For you who are out for a great story, I have two recommendations: Imperial Agent for the Sith Empire You begin as a agent, infiltrating a Hutt Cartel. Your mission is simple, align the Hutt to your cause by any means necessary including old fashion sucking up, eliminating opponents and making deals. However, you will soon discover a grave treat to the Empire in the shape of the Eagle - and discover the very threads of Galactic Civilization. Your companions are interesting and useful and will make talking to them a rather intriguing experience., The simplest spec is the Sniper. You deploy and you shoot. Then you have the Operative, who relies more on tools. Trooper for the Galactic Republic. Deployed on Ord Mantrell for Havoc Squad, you have yet to earn the white armor of the Republic Special Forces. Fighting separatists, intent on having Mantell leave the Old Republic and proving your worth to your commanders will turn the mission sour when your team is captured and you alone must rescue them... Trooper is a run-and-gun spec; but without cover. I find Vanguard to be the most fun spec, as it focuses on close up combat with Area of Effect Weapons. If you want a Sith, the Inquisitor is the best one. If you want a Jedi, Jedi Consular is the most recommended one, but I have little experience with either. So get the game client, and may the force be with you. http://www.swtor.com/

Just copy this line: CockpitDataFile=F-16A_Netz_cockpit.ini into the .ini file of the Aircraft you wish to fly. Make sure it overwrites any other CockpitDataFile= entries. In three steps: 1: Open the .ini file of the Aircraft you wish to attach the cockpit to. 2: Find the CockpitDataFile= Entry (Control+F to search in Notepad) 3: Paste F-16A_Netz_cockpit.ini over whatever previous entry there was. If no entry exists, adding the cockpit will make the aircraft flyable. Done! Not much harder then that Now, this is for standard, non-mod cockpits. For modded cockpits, make sure the cockpit file in question and any folders named Cockpit is included as well. Good luck!

What-If Finnish Air Force A-4A Skyhawk During the war of 1956, the Finnish was given new Aircraft from an unlikely source. The Douglas Airplane Company donated 30 Aircraft to the Finnish Air Force during the course of the conflict, and not caring for their designation as Attack Aircraft, brought them into action as Air Defence Fighters. They proved more then a match for the MiGs of the Soviet Union, ending the war with 22 survivors, having scored over 60 MiG kills and several dozen destroyed strategic targets between them. -
Also known as "Last to get the stuff, yet first into the fight". Such men are rare! Treasure them!

You will find me in most of them :D

I wonder why. The Swedish Air Force historical flight has a civilian _Viggen_. Sure, they went trough purgatory and back to get the licence approved, but they got it and have it for several other Jet Fighters from 60s and 70s.

Here we go again. A raid is a military action. It is not an invasion. What you did was like Pearl Harbour, not D-Day. See the Difference?
