  1. I know they did not. They got them 1959 - I think. The Aircrafts loadout was supposed to be changed to prevent them from arming Rb 24. Seems I need to do a more proper job with that one. Thanks for the correction about the Finnish Me-109s. Ill get a fix up in the next patch. Also, the Ground War where the Tanks seem to go for Helsinki first may just have been fixed. Needs a little more testing on that.
  2. Juhis: Is it a CAS mission? And do you complete the mission? As long as your mission is accomplished, Helsinki should be able to repel the attack regardless. At any rate, I feel I need to play more connect the dots with the ground war.
  3. *laughts* Oh well. I keep removing the Ös whenever possible, but of course I never did that on my own storage folder. Ill change the name on it at once :)
  4. Derk: I know it did. We do have history class here in Sweden, you know ;-). Thanks for the kind words regarding the story. Just hope you all can get to decide the ending soon :) EDIT: Its up and works. Go get it, and don´t forget to tell me what to think, bug reports and so on ;-)
  5. ...and new file submitted. Should work now, once approved.

  7. I was asked by Dave to try a Re-upload. Hopefully, that solves the problem.

View File SF2E: The Scandinavian Front: Operation Isbjörn SF2E: The Scandinavian Front Operation Isbjörn By Jonathan RL In 1956, diplomatic talks about the Baltic Sea region between Finland, Sweden and the Soviet Union broke down. On October 1th, the Soviet Union deploys forces to force the countries into the pact. Sweden, Finland and Norway set condition Isbjörn, activating an alliance against Soviet Agression and rallies to defend Scandinavia... Installation Instructions: Simply unzip it all into your mod folder. I would advise you to use a clean installation so there is as little risk as possible for errors. This mod does not overwrite any original data and can be used alongside any Central Europe themed mod Campaign - in theory. Important Notes: SF2 Europe is a requirement. Preferably, use a fully merged installation. The Terrain itself is not very combatible with the other games, hence the requirement. Aside from that, no other downloads required. The package contains all necessary aircraft, weapons and objects. While the DLC 008 Hawker Hunter is not required, its strongly recommended for this campaign. If you want J28B Vampire Squadrons, you need to own SF2: Israel Expansion Pack 1. Kindly report any bugs or issues to me by PM or in proper thread. 10. Nothing really about settings, just try to find different angles, make sure light is ample - but not too bright. Do not be afraid to experiment.
  11. If you have the Thirdwire Vampire installed and a cockpit set for it, its flyable. I have not done any futher work then that on them, since I dont have any J-28B skins for them yet. I may release it before I get them, and add the J-28B skins to the Thirdwire Vampire in a patch or update.
  12. Just SF2 Europe. Will prob work with SF2 and SF2 Israel as well, if you correct the terrain .CAT or whatever its called :D Bonus content is the DLC 008 Swedish Hawker Hunter and SF2 Israel + Exp 1, but thats just for the Vampires, but its not critical if you do not have them. Release date is pending. Depending on what my beta testers say, I might release the first part tomorrow.
  13. Almost done. A few tweaks here and there left. Want to help? Drop a PM :)
  14. Nice one! Cant wait to take it out for a spin :)
  15. I will give it less then a month until countermeasures become suggested refit for civvie airliners. Still, considering the ammount of MANPADS in BF3, they might just have been zappad into a computer game ;-)
  16. Viggen: Thanks, ill look into that. However, the terrain is filled with big airfields, and none has more then two squadrons. Blade: Thanks, Ill try that too :) Blades trick worked just fine. Thanks!
  17. I am just about to finish the transfer of terrains for Operation Isbjörn, and notices that the Squadrons does not seem to stay on the same Airbase. Instead, they move around as they please. Now, I would not mind this in the middle of the campaign once in a while, but I would apprechiate if they at least start where I chose - something they seldom do right now. I have checked the tooltips, and cannot find anything that is "obviously" the error. How do I make them "stay put" until a relocation actually is necessary (like AB Overrun)
  18. OP Isbjörn will be delayed. The new Sweden terrain will be used for that one as well. Also, I scored a MiG-15 with the BF-109G. I feel pretty big about it too :D
  19. Thanks Wrench! Tought I admit I kinda like the style on the new terrain, the classic look is also nice :) I cant wait until I get to play with this toy. Just hope I dont rush OIB ;-)

    Great work, mate :)
  21. The 1960s campaign and 2012 Midwinterdarkness campaign will be based around this awesomeness: http://combatace.com/files/file/12309-sweden/
  22. This is everything I could have hoped for! I LOVE IT and well worth the wait. I am sure to base my 1960s campaign around this - and it makes the 2012 Midwinterdarkness Campaign work alot better as well since that one is all about Gotland. THANK YOU!
  23. Helsinki, September, 1956. "Mr Kekkonen! We have an urgent matter to discuss!" "If it is about the Soviet Intentions in their latest demands, I already heard what you want to discuss." "No, Sir. Its about actions. We need more air power." "So you say. Do you have a way for us to get more aircraft? We do not have much time, no money and nobody wants to sell. War is on the horizon!" "The Air Force has a plan. Its not much, but better then nothing..." In September 1956, when soviet demands upon Finland was increasing and negotiations with Sweden and Norway for military assistance was at its peak, the Finnish Air Force pointed out to the general staff that troops on the front could not be guaranteed even adequate fire support from the Air Force. Trying desperatly to buy aircraft from whatever storages they could find, a junior officer at a storage area pointed out that many Bf-109s had not been scrapped yet - indeed, many officers still visisted the storage areas and took them out for flying. There where even mechanics who tinkered and kept some of them in flying condition. A small task force was assembled, with pilots and mechanics finding as many air worthy Bf-109s as possible. 32 was chosen with another 15 as reserve. The rest of the Aircrafts was dismantled for spare parts. While no longer capable of throwing down with the best of the Soviet Airplanes, the main gun of the BF-109 can still punch trough soviet armor... Thanks to Spinner for the lovely decals and Monty CZ for allowing me the use of the Avia 199!
  24. All hail the Royal Navy and the skilled modders who bring us this glorious bird. I am going to take her for a spin at once!
  25. I think I love you. This is Sweet Sweet work!
