Not so fast Dave (sorry Dave ) There is a converter that will take certain FS model formats and turn them into 3DS files which can be imported into Max. Useful for small objects etc, but whole aircraft require a lot of re-work.

The mesh name is "AN/APR-38 " There is a space at the end which might have caused an issue, not sure though.

Actually, I posted an idea that used the airbrake settings. It is included in the MiG-27D aircraft and looks like this... [brakingchute] SystemType=AIRBRAKE DeployTime=1.1 RetractTime=0.05 AnimationID=9 DragArea=50.00 MaxDeploySpeed=150.00 BlowbackSpeed=160.00 DeployWhenOnGears=TRUE When the airbrake is used on landing it will deploy when your wheels are on the ground and below a certain speed and it does slow the aircraft down.

Hey Zur, not sure if you have tried this regarding the overheating engine issue but the "pulse jet" could be modeled as multiple engines in the arrangement of the pulse jets on the Talon. I haven't looked at your latest creation yet but this would drop the max thrust on each engine but still keep the overall value intact. If this has already been tried then disregard
