  1. Looks cool, gotta wonder what it would look like in a camo set-up like the MiG-21bis or Draken? I love the Fulcrum, but in retrospect, I am glad the FAF got the F-18 instead. The only upside to a Fulcrum buy is that they probably could have gotten a lot more of them... but by now they would need costly upgrades to SMT or M2 standard to keep up!

  3. I like your skins but maybe it would be easier to have all your skins in one thread? It is difficult to keep track otherwise. Just an idea. Ps. Could you make Iraqi Mi-8 and Mi-24 skins? Would like to have those for the Iran/Iraq mod.

  5. Ah well I guess you dont have the campaign customizer DLC? Easily worth the money, but if that is not an option you can reuse the data ini but change or copy and rename the basic ini (needs to be same name as folder of course) and change Service001=DHIMAR to PARAN, and there where the units are listed you make new entries, so Instead of DhimarUnitXXX you have ParanUnitXXX.   8. So yeah.. Now I am even more confused. I tried Volkers color codes and I do like the green and brown but the tan/ sand seems too yellow to me? Before getting Volkers color codes I had tried to base my colors on the Federal Standard color codes Tom Cooper lists in his IRIAF Tomcat book. But those didnt look right either as they were. So after some tweaking I used these colors: Thoughts? Which ones do you like best?

  10. The colors on TKs IRIAF F-14 is way waaaay too washed out, like it has been standing in the sun for 5 years

  12. I am driven nuts by the iranian Asia Minor color scheme: 1) Is the same colors used on all Iranian birds (F-4D/E, F-5E, F-14A)? It seems like the green on the F-5Es is a lot more olive drab while on the F-14s the green is more blueish but this seems illogical to have different paint for different birds. 2) What RGB / Hex values have you been using, for example Volker on the IRIAF F-4Es? I'd like to have uniform values across the board, but I have not been able to settle on a good set of values. Thank you!

  15. The push to release the C variants was quite intensive so I think all of us involved are having a bit of a break now before saddling up again to work on the rest of the variants. I think most realistic would be to expect the E multiroles next followed by the CR/CTs.
  16. I thought I could post these here too, the A-37B project is alive and well, Daddyairplanes and Eole2 is working on decals on full steam, and I am tweaking the model and templates. These renders are still WIP and there are known issues, for example the tanks are too skinny.. And here is in-game a slightly older version of the model
  17. And how does one do a vertex animation again? Haven't done those before so a bit of a help needed..

So yeah, on the A-37B dragonfly there is a large "whip" type antenna that is straight when the plane is stationary but is bent backwards as the speed increases, I guess I could animate this with vertex animations and assign it to some kind of function (automatic highlift device or?). Any idea on how to set it up? Ideally I want the antenna to animate smoothly from 0 to maximum speed but it would be okay if the antenna bends backwards at some preset speed like 50kts. Thanks!
  19. Hmm yeah probably the video card. One idea, you could try to use the old Mirage F.1 with the new cockpit? If the low resolution does not bother you. Anyways, with the new Mirage F.1 we tried to match the best level of detail in the community to make it somewhat "future-proof" so it would not look dated in just a year or so. We also wanted to exceed the level of detail seen on the stock aircraft. The tradeoff is that for some users the performance will suffer...
  20. Hello Danilo, I am sorry you feel that way. We have not had a lot of complaints about the performance, could you detail your PC specifications? Our model is only 27,000 triangles all included so the poly count is really not excessive, even if not as low as stock aircraft. How is your game performance affected by other high-detail planes like the TMF F-14 or Ravenclaw's F-4s or Buccaneer?
  21. The massive drop tank is for the export MiG-25PD interceptor as well as the reccebomber/SEAD variants, and yes it will be done in due time. The camoed MiG-25 are RB/BM variants used by the USSR and later russia, and yes they will also be added. Continuing in-game testing and tweaking everything I noticed something very peculiar: I was high above Dhimar on a fighter sweep mission, I was pushing Mach 2.55 at 13k meters when my afterburners went out and I got an engine fire! I pulled the throttles to idle and dove for the deck and the fire went out, so I carried on the mission. By now however I had descended into the territory of the Hawk sam sites and got blown out of the sky. I was very surprised to see this feature in the game, certainly never happened before to me!
