  1. Dudes..... I live in Kansas. It's not like I have d*ck-all to do.
  2. I get the desktop crash at 80% on carrier missions if I change even 1 item in the loadout. It's a fresh install with no changes, running at 1920 x 1280 resolution. If I take off from a land base, there are no issues. Carrier mission? Cross your fingers. Try as I might, I can't seem to get this one worked out. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Update: Found it. Graphics Settings in a couple of areas were set to "unlimited." Changed them; that fixed it. Amazing what a little reading (instead of surfing PRON) can do for you.
  3. Then they are going to be well and truly pissed when I finish laying waste to the factory area where all their "adult toys" are being manufactured in a few minutes....... These boys might need to take up reading.
  4. Folks get kinda testy when you bomb their satellite dishes... Guess I interrupted their streaming services.......
  5. But then, I'm also partial to the Brazilian Mirage III's
  6. The Swiss Mirages do look good.....but there's just something about the French ones in silver.
  7. I forgot the B57 was fitted with a drogue chute......... Meaning the end result shows it wasn't the only thing retarded on this mission.
  8. Still one of the coolest planes to ever take to the skies.....
  9. Then you would not have been a fan of mine. Sea Foam Green, 2-door, it had mag wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagles, a 427, and ALL the toys. But I stood to lose it in a divorce in '89, so I traded it in on a Metallic Blue Skyhawk (a model she HATED), so she wouldn't want it. It served me well throuh my 1st stint @ Eglin, sat in storage for a year during the 1st Gulf War; came out for 6 months, and went back into storage for another year when I went to Kunsan, and survived another year in the Florida heat, hurricanes, (ex-gf's), a 4 year tour in Germany, and finally decided here in Wichita that it had been driven & ridden harder and longer than any Kardashian, and gave up the ghost. Speaking of SkyHawks........
