A-6 Intruder Cutaway - Search Images (bing.com) Grumman A-6 Intruder Collection (archive.org) USA - AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife : Targeting and Navigation Pods (armedconflicts.com) The Ford Aerospace AN/AVQ-10 Pave Knife was an early targeting pod developed by the USAF and US Navy to designate and guide laser-guided bombs. Pave Knife was developed in 1969 to replace the original, essentially improvised Airborne Laser Designator (ALD)and TRIM pod (see A-6 Intruder). ALD was not a pod, but a hand-held laser operated by the weapon systems officer to mark targets for Paveway laser-guided bombs. Pave Knife was a roughly banana-shaped external pod, weighing about 550 kg (1,200 lbs) Grumman A-6 Intruder | Military Wiki | Fandom -
Looks like Midway...and it looks fabulous. BTW, NEVER blindly trust that your wingman actually destroyed the ZSU-23-4 near the Fuel Tanks you were supposed to bomb, without looking for yourself.

For those of you saw the movie: remember the word "The Roach" used after dropping the 40mm grenade on the VC? I uttered the same phrase here, since at 2 miles every Gun & SAM in Iceland started firing. If you don't, here's the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f96p-IhcZhQ
