I just got this sim today via download. I've installed the 2.08 patch plus multiskin. I use a CH Products stick and throttle and while the game recognizes the stick, the throttle (after I assigned it) works backwards. I have the same issue with the screen res as Hinch. It is low and really lousy, no matter what I set it at. Where is the key listing? I'd like to map my stick/throttle. Thanks! Storm

Looking good Ed. Just stretch the fuselage before and after the wing about 8ft each. Will make a nice Saudi, French or Brit AWACS. Is Nikki going to jump out of a cake for you?

Did anything change as in new programs being installed? Or after I ran the Spybot/Ad Aware, did anything change? Yes and No. The PF usage went down to 250Mb, but I really havent seen much change, so I think it might be something deeper. Avast, huh? I look for it. Thanks! Jeff

My wife's laptop has been running really poorly. The HD seems to always run. She cant view any photos as thumbnails without it crashing to the desktop. I looked to see what coule be running in the background, but I didnt see anything out of the ordinary. The PF usage was really high though. 460Mbs at the highest and with nothing running, about 250. I ran Spybot to check for malware or spyware. What is a good free one for worms? I'm not sure what else I can do for her. Any tips? Thanks!

Boeing is trying like mad to find more customers and missions for the C-17 airframe. I'm looking forward to the AC-27J. I think it's one of the smarter moves the AF has made recently, in regards to acquiring new aircraft. COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) is the way to go and doesnt keep the aircraft in a drawn out testing phase for years. -S

They have a lobby/launch point for the TW sims. The connection usually sucks though and rarely works.

They traded up their tired Block 25 C-models for some Block 30s from the guys at Ft. Smith, Ark when they got Hawgs. Being my home state, I'd like to refuel them someday. Dang Gucci boys outta Travis always score them. Nice skin. -S

It's Alive!!! And has some clothes on. I fly this in MSFS all the time. It's such a nice jet. I'll be excited to get it in WoE. Have you seen some of the What-If camo schemes for it? SEA, low-vis grey... -S

Love the work on a new Super Hornet family. Not be throw a monkey wrench into this, meant more as an FYI. Your model(s) is/are Lot 25 or earlier jets. They lack the later ECS pipes between the tails and have the flat ECS vents. On the F-model, it's missing the ACS (Advanced Crew Station) in the rear pit. This was a large 8x10 screen for the WSO and was recognized by the enlarged Instr. panel and combing. You guys were talking about the missile rails and how the AIM-9 sat forward. The SH uses the LAU-127 rail and some were modified with an extra cooling system on the aft end, giving the rail a kind of tail that extended past the aileron. I havent seen these in use in a long while though, so what Harold has done is good. Again, not trying to be a Pain in the A**, just giving some additional info if you need it. I've got some top down shots of the ECS pipes if you want them. They've been retrofitted to the earlier Lot jets. Here is a shot of a VFA-211 jet from late 2006 over Afghanistan. It's pretty much as you have your model right now, except for it having the longer LAU-127 rails. -S
